Magical camping weekend
The Wakill river campsites are very taken care of and beautiful. There are only 3 tent sites so everyone has plenty of space to themselves. We had so much fun even though we got hit with a massive thunderstorm night #1 - we decided to stay and it was definitely worth it. Will definitely be returning :)

Open Space with River Veiws Site 2
Great spot! The site was easy to find and I was immediately greeted by the hosts who provided more firewood and let me know I could camp closer to the river! The lower level was really nice and private. Very peaceful.
It was unfortunately too hot for my dog the day I was there so I didn’t stay the night and Sarah refunded me for the firewood and part of my stay which was very generous!

Family Friendly River View Site 1
When my son and I pulled up all I can say is there was a lot of thought put into this site. It is in the back of a 30 acre ish field with natural shade, fire pit, charcoal grill, gas grill, swing-set for the kids and a short walk down the hill to the Wallkill River. We were able to catch a few fish and had the place to ourselves. I would highly recommend both the general location (all of the sites on the property) and site 1 to anyone that doesn’t want a neighbor 20 feet away from you. I will definitely be back again!!!!!

This Campground was enchanting
There was so much scenery to be seen! My favorite being the wild amount of fireflies putting on a show for us down by the river!
I had never seen that many fireflies in my life, it was honestly kind of magical. The walk down to the river was so relaxing, and there was even a little two person swing to sit on. There was a huge open field that made you feel so far away from the noise of every day life. Over this field l saw one of the most beautiful sunsets I had ever seen.
We had a group of friends go, and there was so many different areas to hang out, and catch up at.
This campsite had everything. It had multiple grills, a clean outhouse with a light, a fire-pit and most importantly an amazing place for a much needed get away with the people l love! Thank you so much for having us we had an absolutely wonderful time! ❤️

Family Friendly River View Site 1
We had a great time here. The site was spacious with a good mix of shade and sun. River access was just a short walk down the hill, and town was a quick drive away. Would love to return for another visit.

Shaded river Camping Site 3
My friends and I loved tent camping on Sarah's land. The other two sites were occupied as well, but our site felt still felt very private. The outhouse is very clean, the site was nice and shaded from the summer sun, and communication with the host was great.
