I loved hammock camping at the sanctuary it was peaceful but filled with the noise and atmosphere of a forest. Great getaway so close to civilization :).
I absolutely loved getting to camp on Cory’s Property. The animals are so cute and so cool to see! I also enjoyed the welcoming committee of a sweet little cat who came to hang out with me at night and also came to wake me up! The grass on the site was a little overgrown, but nothing too bad. If you want a very unique experience camping, I would definitely recommend going to see Cory!
I have visited this site so many times and each time it has been a great experience I will continue to come back! Cory creates a great environment for camping and the animals !
Absolutely amazing experience! The campsite is behind the animal sanctuary and basically just against the woods, but it provided a lot of privacy just know that it’s not built up very much! Hearing the animals making noises all night was absolutely wonderful and Corey was such a kind host when we couldn’t make it there between checkout times. Waking up and being able to wander around and meet all the creatures was so fun. I would 10/10 recommend this experience!!
Tent camping at the sanctuary was a super cool experience. Cory and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. All nine dogs are very sweet as well.
10/10 recommend and will be coming back!!
