#6 River Campsite
This was a great place to spend the week. Tom is super helpful and friendly, you're close to everything in the park, with everything you need and nothing you don't. The kids loved playing and fishing in the stream and ponds. We'd definitely stay again.

River Camp Cabin #1
This is a fantastic spot for fishing, hiking, and enjoying the beauty of the Blue Ridge. The hours are amazing and the accommodations are fantastic. A must stop on anyone's adventures in NC!!

#5 Riverside Camping Cabin
WE loved our time in Cabin #5. The area is so nice and relaxing. Would recommend for anyone looking to unplug and just get away for a weekend. Enjoyed the river right out of the cabin when we woke up. Bathrooms need a little work but nothing we didn't expect. Wifi signal was great on Friday but on Saturday no wifi at all. We were okay with that but plan accordingly if you need to reach anyone.

Riverside Escape Site 2
Great location
We loved our weekend tent camping. We all were able to relax and just enjoy one another. We had a beautiful location right on the river. Rick and Tom both were very helpful and checked on us during our stay. The WiFi can be a little iffy and we had zero cell service but it was nice to unplug for a little. The bath house is very rustic but had everything we needed.

Riverside Escape site 1
Chained dog syndrome!
The bathhouse was disgusting and creepy. The lights went out completely when I took a shower. This also happened to a friend of mine, as well. There was a dump truck overflowing with trash near our site. A construction site was just across the small river from us. The machinery started working very loudly at 10am. This prompted an enormously haunting sound of approximately two dozen dogs howling and barking profusely. To make matters even worse we discovered these dogs are chained to small shacks, out in the sun and elements! The amenities that were promised were either nonexistent, such as a swimming hole, or of profound deception and decrepitude, such as the bathhouse. It is no wonder my dog became ill, started shaking, broke out with a horrible rash, stopped eating and drinking water. Ultimately we did not feel safe there and decided to leave very early in our stay and with great swiftness.
