T-16) Tent Site- Park at Site
Very nice
Nice site which was pretty private and peaceful. Wooded and shady but has a cool “peephole” in the middle of the trees where you can see the stars at night, and has a nice mountain sunrise view through the trees in the morning. There are some trails on site with a beautiful pond, the owner/staff is very friendly, and it has clean/modern bathrooms with lots of amenities!

Stargazer Dome #2
Amazing stay in Skygazer Dome 2
We were welcomed warmly upon entering, driven straight to our campsite (skygazer dome 2) to start our stay. There are plenty of trail options (about 4 1/2 miles or so for intermediate hikers) for those that like adventure. Campsite has a nice stone fire pit and wooden bench seats. A picnic table is at the campsite along with a charcoal standing grill. The skygazer dome feels larger inside than the pictures make it seem. So peaceful and relaxing to have the windows facing the woods. Private, large campsite space. We were in the dome during a few significant rains and stayed completely dry. No leaking at all. The structure did not sway or budge from the storms. We felt completely safe inside. We were told the domes are made to withstand 200mph winds. Comfortable bed, sturdy table and chairs, 3 battery operated touch lamps that give off plenty of light at nighttime. We were told there was a storm sometime before we arrived and they removed the power to the dome, so bring battery packs if desired. As other reviews mention, bring more blankets just in case. There are soft, clean sheets on the bed, 2 blankets on the bed, and an extra blanket in the dome if needed. We were glad we brought extra blankets for the bed. 3 full bathrooms- toilet, shower, sink, changing space. 1 single toilet room. Outside, larger sink for the smaller toilet room and kitchen item washing. We did not use the laundry room, though saw other campers using it. We would love to come back again!

Beautiful campground! My favorite part is that the bathrooms are single and you can lock the door. And, the shower stays hot. The owner is also really friendly and the location, driving up to the campground, through Todd or Meatcamp area is a really scenic drive.

Great "Mountaintop" experience
Blue Bear Mountain was a really nice campground! The campsites were roomy. We were in C-3 which was an easy back-in site in the shade of the woods. The bathroom-showers were clean, and the water hot. There were enough facilities to accommodate campers. With 150 acres of property, the trails were a real plus. The staff could not have been friendlier or helpful. In our travels I hope we can come back.
