An 80 acre property with about 40 acres of cropland and 40 acres of woods. Lots of wildlife, not far from the Cache River, 2 hours from Nags Head or Virginia Beach. Great for the "get away from it all" feeling. Not for the dainty camper as there are rattle snakes, bob cats, sometimes bears, and more roaming the woods. Lots of deer! You can make your own campsite on the old road surrounding the back field that is surrounded by Weyheuser woods. The farmer and the main tenant are most likely the only people you might encounter occassionally. An 80 acre property with about 40 acres of cropland and 40 acres of woods. We would like campers to set up in such a way that each camper has about two acres to themselves - with having no more than ten campsites at once spread out through the woods. No hunting is allowed as hunting rights have been given to a local hunting club. Please message us to work with them. They might be okay with it, but they are in charge of all things hunting. We would like to find someone to manage getting power, septic, and the city water put into the site – and then ultimately manage the rentals. Or we could set up a storage unit facility or shooting range. The area has no zoning, but there are still some restrictions here and there. We want to do everything within the laws of North Carolina and Bertie County and town regulations. The plans are negotiable and in development. We may consider selling part of the property as well.
