Our six-acre solar-powered goat farm is a quiet and peaceful slice of paradise away from the chaos and noise but close to so many places to adventure. Summer in the mountains is the perfect time to camp. While it may get hot during the day, our sleeping weather is almost always in the 60s. Feed and play with the goats, picnic along our grass-covered brook, hang out around the large fire pit, and rejuvenate while being close to the many Smoky and Blue Ridge Mountain activities. We have two custom-built RV pads with 15 and 30-amp service plus water and four grass tent locations overlooking a small brook in a forest-shaded park-like setting. Internet is provided by Starlink Business - high speed, low latency, and great for remote workers. We provide solid service throughout the entire property. Work from the top of a mountain!! IP service is available throughout the property - perfect for Van Life or van living. 200-300 down and at least 20-30 up!! Nearby are numerous hiking trails, lakes, waterfalls, and other outdoor activities such as tubing, white water rafting, and boating. If you want to chill, you can check out a local swimming hole, We have several options for our guests at the farm, including a small zipline, farm activities, loop trail, massage services (20+yr licensed), spring trail, wine tastings, weekly outdoor movies (on request), and our petting area where you can interact with very friendly goats. RV/CAR/VANLIFE We can help by recommending and using local mechanics, on-site RV repair (they come to us), solar and power troubleshooting, and good old-fashioned southern kindness. STORMS/BAD WEATHER Located on the campground is a tiny home shed that is being converted to a studio but is open and available during harsh weather.

Grass Tent #3
We loved our time at Scott's farm. He introduced us to the goats. They are so sweet and adorable I left wanting some of my own. The property has several sites with plenty of room for privacy. Water and electric available as well as a full restroom w shower. My son loved the wifi. We booked for a second night.

Great place! The campsites are all along a small creek and everyone has plenty of space. All of Scott’s animals are awesome as well.

Grass Tent #1
Scott was very welcoming and great to talk to. Site was comfy and all the facilities were nice and clean, including the very fast internet. Very nearby Benton falls and many of the white water rafting facilities. There was a bit of a cow smell (they're right across from the small creek we camp near) and insects during high noon, but wasn't much of a problem at night specially with a fire.

Grass Tent #2
My son and I had a blast camping at Candy Mountain Goat Farm! The host, Scott, was helpful and very kind. He let my son hold and feed the goats multiple times a day. The sites were clean and in great shape. The little camp store was stocked with essentials. I’d definitely recommend camping here to anyone visiting the Blur Ridge area.

Upper RV/Campervan Pad
Awesome hip camp and the owner is very accommodating. No cell service but enough wifi to host a work zoom call and get a "full" day or work in while camping. Be sure to say hi to Lilly, the resident dog host.

Great Family Camping Trip
Fun and peaceful camping spot. I planned a trip with three families and while not technically true, it felt we had the entire farm/campsite to ourselves for the weekend we stayed there. Scott and his wife were great hosts and the kid loved playing with Lilly the farm dog, feeding the goats, and the outdoor movie under the starlight was awesome! All around, it was a great trip and I would definitively recommend.
