A private horse farm nestled on a beautiful river that leads to the north east cape fear, and home of three beautiful lakes. Hike manicured trails and watch the sunset, or wake up early and watch the steam roll in over the lakes and rivers while you sip your coffee. Bring your paddle boards and cruise across the sunny lakes, or enjoy some yoga on the docks. Bring a kayak and explore the river bends, or even make it out to the big wide cape fear. Live off the land; In the summer, guests can enjoy wild blueberry picking, fishing year round, or even prickly pear cactus harvesting which you can cook over the fire. If our trails aren’t enough and you want more adventure, just two miles away is the game lands entrance for miles upon miles of hiking or in season hunting. And if you’re craving a beach day, Wrightsville beach is just a 30 minute drive away as well as is downtown Wilmington where you can enjoy walking the riverfront for shopping or dining. Tent camping or dry rv camping only at this time, shower sink and are toilet provided in the bath house. No feeding of the horses allowed, campers are welcome to visit or partake in farm chores with permission.Sunset cliff fishing site is atop a sandy beach cliff that overlooks a lake and all of canter lakes property. You can take it easy up top and watch the birds fly over, and catch the colorful sky as it changes or walk down to one of the docks and catch some fish or load your kayak or paddle board into the water. All sites have access to river in the back and hiking access to all trails. Walking distance to bathroom, and kids zip line. Guests will have complete privacy here as we are starting with one camp site, only other people you’ll see are farm owners or horse riders. Blueberries and prickly pear cacti can be found within a short walk. Fire pit, and hammock provided and access to a covered bar area for meals.
