DuPont Bike Retreat is located 1/4 mile from the Fawn Lake Access area into DuPont State Forest. The DBR is 37 acres and has a pond with a dock and numerous camping sites available. The property used to hold Glass Feather Studio, which was a glass art studio and is now Glass Feather Lodge. The mountain view from the indoor porch is amazing and there are several places to relax and enjoy this view. There is an outdoor shower and bike wash station behind the lodge and two indoor bathrooms (one with shower) off the porch. The lower Pond Area of the property has a port-a-john near the pond. Starter bundles of firewood are included, and additional can usually be purchased on-site. Come enjoy the forest straight from your campsite!

Campsite is private and nestled in between trees. The lodge was great and the land is brimming with birds - a special place for sure! Thanks again for your hospitality, Todd and Cathie.

Girls weekend!

We loved camping here! Spot #8 was nice. We really enjoyed being off in our own little spot next to the pond! You do need four wheel drive or all wheel drive to get up and down from the pond camping to the top. The little cabin at the top was very nice to stop and take showers in!

#8 In The Zone

Perfect spot for camping, mostly shaded which keeps you nice and cool during the summer. Loved having the deck and picnic table for eating and setting stuff up. Would highly recommend to anyone. Host was great and even let us use his golf cart to blow up our air mattress. 10/10

#2 Bunny Hop

Great site for getting into DuPont

The overall property is well-laid out, bathrooms are easily accessible, and the host is very nice and welcoming. Bunny Hop #2 is a good size site for tent camping, though mostly for tents less than 10-person capacity. The fire pit area is somewhat cramped, but workable. Just as the host said, if you're staying near the pond you absolutely MUST have 4-wheel drive in order to get back up the hill. And you won't be able to easily get an overland trailer down there, either. The camp is super close to the DuPont trail system. Great for just hitting the trails straight from the site.

Great location but be prepared

Overall we had a great experience with our site. I feel that it was private enough and that other campsites were spaced just right. However, if you were to camp at the pond sites, be prepared for a hike to the hilltop. That’s the only thing I would complain about. But again overall a good experience
