Our camp is the shared vision of Brian and Lee and son Michael. We fell in love with this beautiful property where we plan to build our eco-friendly, off-grid homestead and farm. Lee's favorite song and the inspiration behind our name is "Puff the Magic Dragon" by Peter, Paul and Mary. A land of whimsical imagination, beauty and maybe a dragon or three is our shared vision for the farm. The camping options are flexible, ranging from prepared campsites along both Little and Deep creeks with composting outhouses nearby, to "Camper's Choice" options where you may hike in or drive in and create your own camping experience. Please note that since the "Camper's Choice" options allow freedom to select hike-in or drive-in options, the exact distance to nearest outhouse may vary. There are 144 acres to explore so campers can set up a secluded getaway or cluster together in a group. We are flexible and can work with you to create a camping experience that suits your needs. Learn more about this land: Honah Lee Farms has over 140 acres of woods with open fields distributed throughout. We are bordered to the south by the Flat River, to the west by Deep Creek, and to the north by Little Creek. Most of our campsites are nestled in the trees along one of these bodies of water and all campers have access to the 10 foot waterfall area where Deep Creek runs into the Flat River.

Camper's Choice #2
We camped for 2 nights with our kids and had a great time. We fished near the waterfall and our toddler played in the sand until his little heart was content. The campsite is well-shaded which was great since it was pretty warm while we were there. Would definitely stay again.

Lower Deep Creek
We had a great time tent camping at Honah Lee Farms. The spot was private and located perfectly next to the water and a short walk to the waterfall. My son caught a fish on his first cast and the dog loved running off leash. Highly recommend and we will definitely return.

Camping with kids!
“I liked catching a fish. It was just like Dory it was a chomper fish”- my 4 year old when I asked her this question. Overall, experience was great. Campsite is very secluded and is surrounded on two sides by a nice creek. Great for children to play and explore. Easily fit two large tents. If you want to drive to the site itself you will need a 4x4 vehicle with decent clearance. Thank you Brian and Mike!

What a spot!! Highly recommend!
What a spot!! Plenty of room for our tent and popup. Then plenty of trees next to the stream for our hammocks, which was the perfect napping spot. We needed more fire wood and Mike was there in a jiffy with what we needed. The phone service was spotty at the campsite but a quick stroll up the hill to the field where the Porta potty is, we got phone service. Which was wonderful because being unplugged at camp was exactly what we wanted. The army fold out table and picnic table was very handy to have. We didn’t use the water bin provided, but next time we will. When we ran out of water we just drove to the homestead and refilled our jugs. Super easy. Plus a chance to say hi to the donkeys. It’s so peaceful and quiet (well there is some service road near by but only a couple cars went by). The sounds of nature is what we heard the whole time and was so relaxing with the crackle of the fire. We will absolutely come back again!!

Lower Deep Creek
Lower Creek, off-leash, & private!
Truly a slice of heaven! Upon arrival, their son, Mike met me and drove me down to my little campsite. My spot was the closest to the waterfall and you can hear it from the site, so therapeutic! It's very secluded, completely off leash for your fur baby, and the creek is perfect for swimming or fishing. They have an outhouse and hang out area up the hill for your use as well. There is absolutely no cell service on the site, so if you want a true escape from technology, this is your spot! But if you travel up to their main area, you can get a bar of service on Verizon and also pet some cool donkeys. Loved the experience and will definitely be back again to catch some bigger fish and swim! Thanks for being an awssome host :)
