Private property bordering Nantahala National Forest on Little Snowbird Creek in Robbinsville, NC. 16mi from Lake Santeelah, about 10mi from the Cherohala Skyway. MUST HAVE 4X4 OR AWD VEHICLE TO ACCESS MOUTAINTOP CAMPSITES. Property damage fee of $100 for 2WD vehicles not adhering to rule. 2WD vehicles must camp creekside, sites 1-6. NO AXES, HATCHETS, MACHETES ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. NO NAILS IN THE TREES TO HANG THINGS. It damages the tree and causes them to die. Spacious camping lots, and great trout fishing but will need a landowner permission slip as little snowbird creek is on private property. Fishing privileges are actually written into property owners' deed on the purchase of land. Amazing views and relaxing sounds of the creek can be heard from anywhere on the property. Many Hiking trails are just a short drive from the property and please be respectful of others' property and no trespassing signs. It’s a kinda bumpy mountain road to get there but the secluded, peaceful and breathtaking views make this location a must-see and adventure.

“Blueberry hill” 7 mountaintop
Beautiful Camping Spot
The road to get there is not for the faint of heart, but the campground and experience are entirely worth it. We loved camping at Site 7 (Blueberry Hill), which is breathtakingly beautiful and private (unlike the sites at the bottom of the mountain. You get the creek OR the view--both have their perks). This is a perfect camping spot for those who are okay with limited amenities. We brought our own water and we were fine. You really can't go wrong with Site 7, and we all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The owner is helpful and hardworking, and can be found around the grounds for any questions or needs that may arise. There is no reception here (at least not Verizon), which was a plus for us.

“Lookout” Mountainside 11 tent
10/10 - once in a lifetime
This was a once in a lifetime experience! The most beautiful spot. We stayed in campsite 7, which had the most breathtaking views. The sunrise over the mountain was worth the early rising. The property was extremely well maintained and Andrew went out his was to ensure that we had the most enjoyable stay. He is a a great host and very knowledgeable about the area. Would give this stay a 10/10!!!

“Longhair” 3 towable/tent
Site 3 "long hair"
Had a wonderful time, would highly recommend. We stayed at site 3, plenty of trees for shade, hammocking, and privacy. Large site, can fit several tents easily. Sites are spread out enough, plus with the sound of the creek you can't hear anyone. Creek is easy to play in, fish in, and simply enjoy the beauty and sounds. Compostable toilets are at each site, with privacy tent, clean, and have small solar lights for finding in the dark. Camp host was great, provided firewood at reasonable cost, he even provided a map of the local area noting trails and things to do, although staying at camp with the creek is plenty in my opinion. We had zero cell phone service, so bring cash in case you are unable to venmo host for firewood.

“Lookout” Mountainside 11 tent
Spot 11
I loved car camping at this spot! My partner and I use a tailgate tent and this spot was perfect for that. We were able to build a fire, have dinner with a perfect view & even sleep peacefully while the rain came down outside. The spot was fun to get to and very well instructed. The photos prior to coming did not do this spot justice!! The view is unreal:)
