Discover pristine wilderness at Glassy Stays, Asheville's exclusive glass mirror house. Only 20 minutes to downtown Asheville and yet isolated and private, here you can unwind from life's stressors and rejuvenate your mind and body as you forest bathe through one-way glass walls. Relax in your private 6 person hot tub or take a picnic out on a private trail to a beautiful quiet meadow and a 200-year-old chimney. This sought-after haven for singles and couples alike brings modern luxury into nature. Book your escape now—this unique stay is unparalleled.-While the house is off-grid, you still have every want and need covered like any luxury house (electricity, traditional bathroom/toilet, shower, wifi internet, etc.). In fact, you'd have a hard time even knowing the house was off-grid without knowing ahead of time. But you can feel good staying here knowing you have chosen an eco-conscious home for your vacation.
-The 1-way mirrors work using differences in light and dark. During the day, its lighter outside so nobody can see in. At night, if you have all the lights on, it would be possible to see through the glass (except in the bathroom which has solid tinting). However we have designed the house on its own 6 acres elevated 5 feet and surrounded by trees such that there would never be anybody nearby to look in. So you have no worries even at night. You are completely private.
-There is a single burner electric stove top and cookware, a counter top oven and utensils should you want to never leave and cook in house. In fact for stays beginning in 2024, we will be offering gourmet meal packages with a kitchen robot to do the cooking for you. This is an ad on, but a pretty amazing one we think. You'll never have to leave the confines of luxury if you don't want to.
-We use a projector and pull down screen for tv and movies using Apple TV which effectively works like a 70" HD television. However you will need to log into your own Netflix/Max/Disney+ etc. accounts. We find guests prefer to have access to their own content during their stay.
