GLENVILLE HIGH TREEHOUSE (4000')
The most wonderful Treehouse
Peter has built a fantastic cabin that has everything the listing promises and way beyond. Thoughtfully put together sleeping quarters, the flush toilet, the hot water shower and dish washing hose really make this place unique (compared to the similar composting toilet and community shower offerings). The kitchen is well put together, too: a 12/24V refrigerator/ freezer is great if you are bringing food to cook. Fully equipped kitchen with all pots pans and utensils you may need. The cabin layout is great: sitting area is in the center of everything, and the air flow is controlled by the restaurant style rolling plastic curtains (which we used when it got windy and cold.) The morning was nice and warm and we lifted those up for the open air on both sides of the cabin. Steps away is the most wonderful patio area with a full water cascading pond and a fire pit surrounded by the set of 2 swinging benches. The view from here is making you feel you are on the top of the world, and is nice and quiet place to enjoy at sunset time.

SMOKY MOUNTAIN HIGH(4100')
Amazing View, Wonderful Host
Peter’s land was a great spot to spend a couple nights. The view was just stunning and the site has a ton of great accommodations. There are plenty of places to sit and a huge fire pit. The lake nearby with access to canoes and a paddle board was a huge perk. The nearby hike to High Falls was also just amazing. I loved the area and was happy to find such a great spot with a communicative and helpful host.

SMOKY MOUNTAIN HIGH(4100')
Private panoramic Blue Ridge view!
I was looking for a low stress weekend of camping with the kids, and Mountaintop Fantasy was exactly what I was looking for. The campsite and location were great, and the views were just absolutely phenomenal. From sunrise to sunset, the mountain views from both the observation deck and the upper area with the fire pit were mesmerizing. And after dark, the deck made the perfect spot to set up our telescope and take in some stargazing.
I've started camping again over the last year, but only with friends, so I don't have all the gear yet to confidently solo camp. This site was perfect because it had all the essentials and some extra amenities, while still being a camping experience.
Thank you, Peter, for the thoughtful site preparation, prompt and clear communication, and ultimately, for sharing this with me and the family. We hope to come back sometime.

GLENVILLE HIGH TREEHOUSE (4000')
Peter’s land made for a beautiful, serene stay! Watching the sunset behind the mountains was the highlight of each day. The lake was calm, and everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend!
