Absolutely beautiful view and pretty perfect for a one night tent camp!
We didn’t expect it to be right off the road in the way that it was, but it still seemed private and it was very quiet.
The solo stove and firewood made it easy (we ended up getting another couple of bundles from a local gas station, but buying from Taylor was cheaper and she brought it straight to us).
The only downsides were that there wasn’t really any tree coverage or woods that were accessible at the campsite, so going to the bathroom felt a little exposed and the sun was on us until it set.
All in all we really enjoyed our time!

Me and a my pup, had a great night
Gorgeous view of the sunset, glimmering fireflies everywhere, and in the morning lots of beautiful butterflies. The site is for you if you’re going for the sites. Taylor was also a very responsive host. Would go again, only thing I would change - is to use some white noise to drown out the dogs we heard in the background at night. (May not be a frequent occurrence though!)

Scenic
We loved this land and really enjoyed the beautiful views. The site is pretty private which is nice. There is a house in view but we didn’t mind! The site comes with a solo stove and fire wood which is awesome and Taylor was a terrific host!! Overall super peaceful and tranquil stay.

I used it as base camp for two nights. I got to see a storm and sunset all in one setting. The fireflies were crazy at night and the moon lit the entire landscape when it was out. The morning can be filled with dense fog, countless birds that you hear their wings when they fly past your tent with bumble bees and butteries everywhere. The sounds are as great as the sights.
A few cars, but feels private. The host was great. It’s a great area if you want to get out and explore. The trip to Mount Mitchell was probably my favorite.
Between the Rockies, Black Hills, Great Lakes and here I really only look for places like this. And they’re not very easy to find. Thanks for sharing a great spot!
