Family Fun!
Super community! Our kids had a blast at BRB. Nick and Tja were so welcoming, fun community area down by there creek, and close to rafting. Highly recommend staying at this awesome property with very down to earth hosts.

14) Adventure Basecamp 9 - Premium Camper
Home Away From Home
I absolutely love what Tja and Nicholas have done with their property. Secluded and well designed to maintain the mountainous serene setting really highlights their approach. You feel at home away from home in such a beautiful setting. Located near several activities (river, lake, and city). By far one of my favorite spots and we will continue to return here each year. The setting wouldn’t be near as perfect if not for all of the details from the hosts. Hammocks line the sites and you are well equipped with not only the essentials but also the extras to truly maximize your trip experience. Cooking dinner on the black stone while listening to the creek babble away is just perfection. 10/10 would recommend.

12) Adventure Basecamp 7 - Premium Camper
Booked this camper for my dad and was so impressed with the quality and cleanliness. Tja and Nick are fantastic hosts. In the future we’d consider leaving our own camper at home, rather than hauling, for a quick trip. I’d absolutely rent one of their campers.

07) Adventure Basecamp 2 (Back In)
Our family had a fantastic stay at Blue Ridge Base Camp. It’s such a beautiful property and a great location for exploring all the Nantahala/ Smokey Mountain area has to offer (which is a LOT to see). Taj and Nick are fantastic hosts who made us feel welcome from our first interaction. This is a place where you can truly come as a guest and leave as a friend. We stayed with another couple and the kids never had a screen in their hands, they spent days running around the grassy meadow and splashing in the creek. Coming from Florida it was magical to grab a hammock in the shade and not have a drop of sweat. We even needed jackets by the fire at night. This is the place to do summer! Can’t wait to make it back.

Nick and Tja were great hosts, very welcoming and personable. Nick even offered to park our trailer for us! Communication was super fast and responsive. The campground is very nice with a beautiful grassy area by the creek with hammocks for guest use. We will definitely be coming back!

This site was stunning! The grounds were extremely well kept, the hosts were friendly, and the creek was the most soothing sound to fall asleep to.
