This 2 acre, partially wooded lot is located on a secluded cove of Lake Wylie. Campers can enjoy the lakeview, lake access, a spacious dock, swimming area, fishing, kayaking, and other lake activities! [This camping spot includes a communal or private fire pit as well as access to a gas grill.] Additionally, this lot is within driving distance to many local attractions listed below. This property is BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat)! There a 2 boat landings within 5 miles of the property, campers are more than welcome to tie up their boat to the on-site dock and park their trailer on the property. Pets are welcome, however note that the property owner has a cat and small dog on site. Pets need to be well behaved and not aggressive to other animals. Cleaning up after your pet in the lawn areas is required. The property owner (Teresa) lives on-site in a cabin between the camping pad and the lake. Local attractions within driving distance include: -Copperhead Island (5 miles) -McDowell Park/Nature Preserve (5 miles) -Carowinds Theme Park (5 miles) -Charlotte Premium Outlets (5 miles) -Whitewater Center (10 miles) -David Stowe Botanical Garden (15 miles) -Uptown Charlotte (15 miles) -Charlotte Motor Speedway (25 miles)Flat gravel camping pad is 16-27ft wide x 54ft long in a 2.5 acres lot. Guests will have electric and sewer hookup. Guests can access well water, however, there is no direct water hookup at this time. There are no bathroom amenities available, guests will need to be self contained. Maneuvering into the campsite can be tricky for a RV newbie. See map in the photos section. While the camping pad is flat the drive does slope down towards the water. A 4x4 vehicle is not required, however, it may be beneficial as the driveway is loose gravel. I live in the cabin between the camping pad and lake. There is a neighboring cabin within 175ft of camping pad.

Teresa was so welcoming. My daughter and I had the best time camping and being there. I look forward to coming back there when in the area next year.

Unbelievable value!
One of our best Hipcamp experiences thus far! Level, dedicated gravel pad with easy access electric. The lake is breathtaking, especially at night. Teresa was very nice and gave clear, precise instructions about everything. A gem to be sure! A+++

Memorial Weekend Getaway
We had a relaxing stay at Teresa’s RV Campsite over Memorial Day weekend with our family of four in our travel trailer. The campsite is well-maintained and clean with a 30A hookup and sewer connection. While she gets the water connection fixed at the campsite, she allowed us access to the water spigot at her house which is about 125’ away from the site. When we arrived, Teresa showed us around the property and showed us the areas that we had access to, which included a patio area, a fire pit seating area, a nice tree swing, and a beautiful dock on the lake! There’s an outlet shopping center about 10 minutes away which was a big plus for my wife. One of the things we liked most about this campsite is that it was very wooded, quiet, and peaceful while being very close to pretty much anything you want to do. Overall, Teresa’s RV Campsite provided the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend getaway.

Great stay on the lake
Host was very considerate and a great communicator. I can't say enough good things about her. Stayed one night tent camping with friends and it was awesome. Pretty private little area she let us stay at instead of using the gravel RV pad. It was shaded, quiet, clean, and close to the lake. She even had a pump at the dock for floats. Cell service was strong, Publix, and great restaurants less than 10 minutes away. Easy to find and parking was a breeze. Not one complaint!
