This 2.5 acre, partially wooded lot is located on a secluded cove of Lake Wylie. Campers can enjoy the lakeview, lake access, a spacious dock, swimming area, fishing, kayaking, and other lake activities! [This camping spot includes a communal or private fire pit as well as access to a gas grill.] Additionally, this lot is within driving distance to many local attractions listed below. This property is BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat)! There are 2 boat landings within 5 miles of the property, campers are more than welcome to tie up their boat to the on-site dock and park their trailer on the property. Pets are welcome, however note that the property owner has a cat and small dog on site. Pets need to be well behaved and not aggressive to other animals. Cleaning up after your pet in the lawn areas is required. The property owner (Teresa) lives on-site in a cabin between the camping pad and the lake. Local attractions within driving distance include: -Copperhead Island (5 miles) -McDowell Park/Nature Preserve (5 miles) -Carowinds Theme Park (5 miles) -Charlotte Premium Outlets (5 miles) -Whitewater Center (10 miles) -David Stowe Botanical Garden (15 miles) -Uptown Charlotte (15 miles) -Charlotte Motor Speedway (25 miles)

Teresa was very hospitable and accommodating. Upon arrival she came out to greet us. Her property is beautiful and very peaceful. Very convenient location.

Camping at Lake Wylie
My husband and I really enjoyed staying at Teresa's site #1 at Lake Wylie. It was awesome having full hookup and within walking distance to the lake. Teresa was very nice, responding quickly to any questions I had before and during our stay. Just FYI there was a hill to get to and from the dock at the lake but the well maintained, landscaped steps did not present a problem for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Teresa was so easy to communicate and work with. Her location offers the best of both worlds in terms of access to the woods and the lake. Very peaceful and quiet and a nice little getaway from the city.

Lovely spot
I so enjoyed staying at Teresa‘s land. She is a gracious and helpful host. I felt very safe there .She has two sites. One with Water and Electric and the other primitive. I stayed in the one with Water and Electric. It was just as the pictures depicted. Level gravel site. Beautiful view of the lake. It was downhill to the lake, so I decided to just sit at my campsite and look as I was tired from my drive This was just as lovely. Teresa was so helpful. With hints on how to manage my camper(This was my first time using Hipcamp) And my GPS Alternate route system Thank you, Teresa I really appreciate all you did

Jeep Tent Camping
The place was private, peaceful and beautiful. The lake was awesome. Teresa is a very hospitable host and very kind. Make sure you carry a tarp for the red clay. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely return.
