Great Camping Spot!
We had a great time at site 25! Nice view of the mountains and river below the site. Can see lots of stars at night too! It was a little muddy on the road out to the site (because of rain) and a 4wd vehicle was recommended, but we did just fine with a rwd vehicle. Not crowded, nice wilderness feel while not being too far away from civilization. Highly recommend!

The view when the sun is setting is beautiful! Right by the bathrooms and firewood. The ride there was very muddy, so definitely make sure you have 4WD.

The camp site was amazing and Amber was super helpful. We stayed here as a base camp before starting the Art Lobe trail the next day. There is a driving range next door that was really fun to do. The campsite felt very secluded and well maintained. We could hear the river flowing. We will be returning!

Perfect Location and Property
We can’t say enough good things about our stay here. This was a last minute booking on a Friday evening and Patrick was beyond accommodating, as he was willing to run me around his place on his side by side to make sure it would work for our travel trailer.
The location was perfect, being just a few minutes from Pisgah, downtown Brevard and some breweries but also far enough removed that once your out camping, you get that completely private feeling you’re wanting.
We’ve stayed in Hipcamp’s all over the country and this was by far one of the best, we’ll definitely be back.

You are next to the river and there is a buffer (trees and brush) between this site and the next sites. Away from it all and other campers.

Great place to be secluded but also close access to Brevard and Pisgah National Forest. Would stay again! Dry firewood is offered on site for $10 which is convenient but can easily found cheaper within 5-10 min drive. The access road can get quite muddy and slippery after the rain but we made it in and out without much problem with a low to the ground front wheel drive Mazda 3. Also several puddles around the campsite and a stream through one of our tents one morning after the storms...but what are you going to do? It's camping!
