Once a three car garage now converted into a working artists studio, this property is a creative and peaceful home. The owner, a former contractor and artist Martha McKinley Murphy and Shane have changed this into a place where sculpture, art and harmony blend into a haven and retreat enjoyed by many. Learn more about this land: Our four acres is an open view for the wonders of star gazing. Come enjoy a place where the artist in all of us can be peacefully camping or take a drive less than 4.5 miles away to Ocean Isle Beach. Be a shell collector or enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking or canoeing at some very close places to enjoy the waters. A screened outdoor living room overlooks our half acre pond with a wooded backdrop. Under our giant magnolia tree, one can see gorgeous sunsets and enjoy a picnic dinner. Our private outdoor shower is spacious and is next door to an outdoor kitchen. Campers can enjoy our raised bed garden areas when in season or collect organic eggs from our free range hens. Attached to our home is a workshop/studio area where families and friends can gather for a small event, class or meal. Our four acres is an open view for the wonders of star gazing. I love camping on Martha and Shane’s land. They are some of the most amazing people you could meet. Always accommodating and welcoming. The communication with them is amazing. Every time I come to the beach I check to see if their property is available first. 10/10 recommend

Great spot right under the big oak tree gave us shade through the day but still access to the sun for our solar setup. So many great aspects: chickens and ducks scratching about, outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen, screened in gathering area, and art from Martha and Shane accentuates the property in various forms and mediums. Martha and Shane are the best: kind and generous human beings. I am so glad we stayed with them.

Memories under the magnolia tree
Core memories are made here. The owners were so kind and generous. Martha's land is big and beautiful, its a sight to see in itself. It's also conveniently close to town. I definitely recommend staying here.

Very cute little place! Plenty of shade and space for camping. Outdoor shower and public spaces are also a nice touch! Very close to ocean isle and the beach.

Fantastic campsite!
Star Fall Station is an amazing campsite! Tons of space, but each space is fairly private. We were the only campers there when we stayed. The road it's on is fairly quiet, too. Awesome features on the property like the giant magnolia (which you can camp under), the gently lit path around the private pond, and the outdoor living area. Shane, the host who met with us, was super friendly and accommodating with firewood, kindling, and fresh eggs.

The best!
Martha and Shane are the most thoughtful hosts, period. They were incredibly accommodating during a weekend where we had very high temps and basically saved our vacation from being a total bust. Their spot is the perfect place to stay for a beach vacation, being just minutes from two different beaches as well as close to restaurants and bars, but then also having the privilege to retreat to a private, peaceful location - with the additional treat of friendly animals walking about. The ducks will wag their tails if you talk to them 💀
