Once a three car garage now converted into a working artists studio, this property is a creative and peaceful home. The owner, a former contractor and artist Martha McKinley Murphy and Shane have changed this into a place where sculpture, art and harmony blend into a haven and retreat enjoyed by many. Learn more about this land: Our four acres is an open view for the wonders of star gazing. Come enjoy a place where the artist in all of us can be peacefully camping or take a drive less than 4.5 miles away to Ocean Isle Beach. Be a shell collector or enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking or canoeing at some very close places to enjoy the waters. A screened outdoor living room overlooks our half acre pond with a wooded backdrop. Under our giant magnolia tree, one can see gorgeous sunsets and enjoy a picnic dinner. Our private outdoor shower is spacious and is next door to an outdoor kitchen. Campers can enjoy our raised bed garden areas when in season or collect organic eggs from our free range hens. Star Fall Station

We had a great time camping under the magnolia tree, hanging out around the pond and going to the beach which was only 8 mins away! I felt very safe staying on their property and in the surrounding area. Their property was beautiful and well maintained. Martha and Shane treated us wonderfully and even helped us out when some storms came in. I'm sure we will be going back to camp again sometime.

Great camping spots with big shady trees to pitch tents under. Beautiful artistic spaces and great amenities. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Even helped jump our car that died. Pretty pond to walk around and picnic next too. campsites had good privacy and lots of space. Very close to the beaches and town.

10/10 stay! Such a beautiful piece of land! The walk around the pond was such a beautiful and peaceful experience! The hosts were EXCEPTIONAL! We loved our stay there, and would definitely recommend!

Perfect weekend!

Martha and Shane are top-notch hosts! Their property is large and has so many amenities for a camping spot. This was the perfect location for some reconnection. We are already planning a return visit. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. See you soon!

Star Fall Station

This site met and exceeded our expectations! We parked near the big magnolia tree which was a godsend during the sunny days over Memorial Day weekend. We spend all afternoon playing cards in the shade under the tree. Their property is about 10 minutes to the beach - we went about 8 am to beat weekend traffic and it was so quick and easy to get there. The cold shower was absolutely heaven after being in the sun all day and we utilized the grill and screened in porch. It was very private and Martha was a great host. Easy to communicate with!
