Stonegate Haven is a tranquil property nestled in the countryside of Western North Carolina just 20 minutes from Asheville. This quiet and peaceful 3 acres space is the perfect spot for relaxation. There is a wide open field for multiple tent sites with a beautiful flowing creek that borders the camp. With the absence of city lights it is also a wonderful spot for stargazing. The property comes with access to a compostable toilet, fire pit, picnic table and lawn games as well as a fun, multi-purpose traditional Lakota teepee set up for communal use. This land is blessed so we ask that no drugs of any kind are used on the premises and all trash is bagged up before departure, leaving Stonegate Haven just as you found it, OR BETTER! We look forward to your visit! I absolutely loved River and Stars hipcamp! To start with the drive there alone was a treat! Such a beautiful landscape of mountains and rolling farmland. The property was beautiful too and felt so private and peaceful. I could hear the lovely stream all night and the stars and fireflies were incredible! It was really nice to have a picnic table, fire pit and chairs for hanging out as well as a grill top for cooking on. The host was friendly and everything went smoothly. I definitely want to visit again soon and let others know about this gem of a spot. Thanks for opening up your space for such a lovely camping experience!

Great camping experience
Tent · Group trip
Wyatt was a super cool host! He made sure we were set for the night. Spot was secluded and quiet with just the sounds of nature. Waking up to the babbling Brook and rooster was a perfect camping experience. Even with the rain it was one of our favorite camping spots. Even our dog loved it and made friends with their dog Brody.
