Learn more about this land: Come and explore 355 acres of beautiful nature, bounded by the East Jeddore fishing port and the Atlantic Ocean. Located less than a 1-hour drive from Halifax and just over 1 hour from Truro. We offer 4 very private tent campsites that can accommodate 4 people and that are family-friendly. Campfires are permitted but the sites do not have fire pits so please be fire safe.  There’s plenty to explore on the property, choose to explore by foot or bring your own ATVs, bikes, or horses and discover all of the beautiful nature and views. You may also choose to just simply relax by the campsite and immerse yourself in the outdoors listening to all the wonderful nature sounds.  Nearby is renowned Martinique Beach (40 minutes) and Clam Harbour Beach Provincial Park (25 minutes) great for families to enjoy on a warm day. We’re also close to East Jeddore Harbour, a small fishing community with the friendliest people.  Sobeys, NSLC, and other stores can be found in Jeddore about 20 minutes away to stock up on all the camping necessities. There are also many delicious restaurants and cafes within driving distance, just ask and I can provide you with some of my favourites!  Hope to see you soon!Come and explore 355 acres of beautiful nature, bounded by the East Jeddore fishing port and the Atlantic Ocean. Not campable at all. No area cleared for tent or van. All overgrown. Neighbours are close by and not informed that the place is a campsite. The host has done zero to make this a campsite.

Has a lot of potential
Tent
We were happy to stay but didn’t realize almost all of the land was only accessible by hiking or ATV. We have a small truck camper/over land rig and ended up needing to park and camp by the road as our truck would not clear the trail. The neighbors were really nice to help identify the property. I’d recommend clearing the trail for 9ft clearance to allow standard 4x4 vehicles to access or stating access issues a bit clearer on the campsite description. Still worth the stay in a lovely area.

Listing needs revamping
Tent
Unfortunately the listing doesn’t reflect the access situation. The address location is that of neighbours who are unaware that property adjacent to theirs has been listed for camping. Access is in the neighbours driveway and yard, with no obvious indication of how to access her property (neighbours also are unaware where her property boundaries are and have never met her). A message I sent inquiring about the ‘dirt road’ access in winter was never responded to. Fortunately we were able to drive to a wilderness area nearby and camp there!
