All to yourself
100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
We have a half acre lake front lot with privacy. We have access directly to the lake from the lot and a laneway for a small boat as well. There is fishing, paddle boarding, boating, hiking and walking on these quiet roads in the wilderness. The Bay of Fundy is down the road maybe 2-5 min. If you want peace and quiet then here it is, a nice fresh lot on a lake out in the middle of no where. We DO NOT have any any of the equipment (kayaks, paddle boards and fishing equip) there you must bring your own. There is no washroom or electricity yet, so please be aware of this.Pitch a tent or bring your trailer. We do not have power yet but very soon we will. Lake view and lake frontage with access to the water right from the lot. Enjoy fishing, swimming, hiking, biking or just simple nature walks in this beautiful area of Nova Scotia. This had ample parking and even a ramp for small boat. FOR FIRES PLEASE CHECK FOR ANY FIRE BAN RESTRICTIONS ON ANNAPOLIS COUNTY FIRE BAN

Nice lakefront camping location
Tent
Very private, can pitch a tent a couple feet from the water. Access to it is fine in a sedan, but just be aware going up the mountain hill road towards the lake is a gravel road with some sharp turns. Well worth the cost though for the private lakefront views. Saw chipmunks, squirrels, lots of small cute birds, and mosquitoes were not bad.

Camping on the lake!
20 ft pop-up camper
We loved our May long weekend at Pickle's Place! The weather was perfect. The space was great for our camper. We brought our canoe and paddled around the lake. It was nice to be close to Annapolis, we went on many drives and adventures. If you go by the Crows Nest restaurant, be sure to get their hand cut fries. They were the best we've had in a long time. We had a fire by the lake each night. It was quiet and extremely relaxing. Waking up to all the birds chirping was a delight. Five star long weekend for sure!
