*Disconnect to Reconnect!* Get away from it all when you stay in this unique off-grid eco-friendly cabin with solar power and composting toilet. A peaceful place to stay! Relax and enjoy nature or grab a cooler and head to the lake just a few minute walk down the road (400 meters) Ample 4x4 trails to play, bike, hike and ride in. Bring your kayaks or boats with multiple boat launches/beaches to choose from. Less than 10 minutes to your nearest “everything in 1” corner store with NSLC.Quiet off grid cabin, Eco- therapy glamping. Nestled in the trees on a dead end road. Land is cleared for parking, recreation and outdoor games. Plus large spot for bonfires. With Nova Scotia having some of the darkest skies in North America, sitting out around the fire you will NOT be disappointed with the star show above. Absolutely stunning!! We are connected to solar for electricity, compost toilet ( almost just like a regular toilet) but no running water. The cabin is no maintenance for our guests at all! Just come in and relax! We DO have LOTS of drinking water and to wash dishes and a small pump sink to wash hands/ brush teeth/ wash face in the bathroom. The nearest lake is a 400 meter walk from the camp. Water for shower must be brought back from the lake and used with our rechargeable shower head with outdoor shower. Buckets are provided to use and get water from Annis Lake. (You will want to drive/ quad to get your water) Annis Lake is spring fed therefor very clean. It is so clean you can see to the bottom! Please note that **Towels NOT provided** We do not have a traditional indoor kitchen. Our main cook source is a BBQ with side burner and a black stone top to use on BBQ. - Think “camping!” When you come here to cook! Appliances we have for inside use : * Small microwave * Electric skillet for indoor cooking * Toaster * Coffee maker * Slow cooker * Hot water kettle * Water cooler Propane fire pit for use during burn bans or firewood provided if purchased! See "other details to note" below). There is NO heat source but we do offer fans for the hot summer months. We have satellite TV but there is no internet in the cabin. However there is cell service for phone calls and to use your 3G data. We ENCOURAGE loud music and dancing around the bonfire!! Come and enjoy yourselves!!!!!! Great fishing! ****Please understand that we ARE solely run off SOLAR POWER! This is an experience and sometimes nature does not work in our favour! The power COULD momentarily shut off if all the power is used but that just makes the adventure that much more fun!*** We will be right there to turn it back on for you! Our cabin is registered under the Nova Scotia Tourism Registry.

Group trip

Had lots of fun staying here. Everything we needed was already there. Reminded me so much of camping when I was a kid. Very nice secluded spot with good amenities. Would love to stay again.
