Pack your essentials and escape to the Little Miami River Valley's best kept secret. Our off-grid cabin and tent campsite is situated on 14 acres along the National and Scenic Little Miami River. Once here, you'll park near our farmhouse on the upper plateau and take a 4 minute hike over the creek, through the meadow, and into the woods. As you approach the cabin and campsite/s, the trail opens up to an acre of green space shaded by large Sycamore, Walnut, and other native trees. Take a dip in the river, enjoy people watching as canoeist pass, or take part by renting a canoe or kayak from Morgan's Outdoor Adventures just a mile up the road. The Little Miami Trail is also less than a mile down the road so bring your bike! Our composting outhouse is serviced between each stay, meaning it's emptied, sanitized, and like new for each new guest. There are two established campfire locations and a picnic table is provided along with several tiki torches. There is plenty of room for tents if additional guests are joining. If interested in having tents provided and set up prior to arrival, see add ons. Add-ons available for additional purchase include bedding (cabin only), a propane grill, tent rental/setup, and firewood. Please note, our cabin site and tent site are the same location. Once one site is booked (e.g. either the tent site or cabin), we'll blackout the dates for the other site option so that you are the only guest/group onsite on any given night.

Tent Campsite On The River
I enjoyed my stay here! You are very close to the river, easy fishing and dipping into the water! The area is absolutely beautiful and quiet! You will see canoers drift down the river. It was fun to wave to them and see them enjoy the water. There was plenty of flat space for popping a tent. There are also trees, which made it easy to put up my hammock. Great shade and also an area for full sun. It’s well manicured. The directions were easy to follow. Hunter was a great host and always willing to answer my questions. This spot is beautiful and highly recommend it!

Cabin Campsite On The River
Fantastic spot right on the river, lots of space to relax, put up hammocks, and watch the kayakers roll by. Site was clean with tons of amenities. Quick access to the Ohio to Erie Trail, took about 6 minutes on bike. Hunter was a great host and made sure we were taken care of. Would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful! On the banks of the Little Miami River, under a beautiful canopy of trees ! Much room to roam and explore! Beautiful cabin and outhouse ! Great hosts !

Great Cabin / Tent site!!!
We loved staying in the cabin by the river! Great views, 2 fire pits and we well maintained/safe environment! It's great place to go if you you want to step away from the busy things in life to relax and simply allow the sounds in nature to recharge you! Hunter (The host) and his family, were very welcoming and if you weren't fully prepared for a camping experience, they had the basic necessities avaliable in the cabin. There is also a canoe rental business just down the road called "Morgan's Canoe and Outdoor Adventures". We highly recommend giving them a visit if you want / need something to do! This was our first Hi Camp experience and we give this site an honest 10 out of 10! We'll more than likely visit again soon! Thanks!
