Come stay at our little sustainable farmstead amid the beautiful rolling hills of southern Ohio! Our peaceful 20 acres has a good mix of woods, wild meadows and maintained cleared areas as well as a small pond, all of which can be explored via our nature trail. Enjoy the sounds of nature and an incredible night sky. Farm fresh eggs and fresh produce are available for purchase during the growing season and firewood is available all year round. There is also a wonderful sauna on the property that can be reserved. Great hiking, kayaking, biking, birding, fishing, swimming, and disc-golfing opportunities just a few miles away at Paint Creek State Park and the Highland Nature Sanctuary. Amish country is also just 15 minutes away with a great bakery, markets and greenhouses. This area is home to an impressive network of ancient earthworks including the world famous Serpent Mound. Our accommodations range from primitive tent-camping to "glamping" in one of our tiny off-grid cabins. The sites are spaced out for privacy and each site offers a private picnic table and fire pit. There are two shared privies/outhouses which have basic composting toilets. A grassy parking area is provided near the road, however, ALL SITES ARE WALK-IN ONLY. Greenfield (5 miles north) is the nearest town and has two grocery stores, restaurants, a bar, hardware, gas, etc. Bainbridge (7 miles south) has gas, hardware, a couple of restaurants, dollar store, amish businesses, etc.

Fruitdale Farm is the best!
Fruitdale Farm is a steal! There aren’t many places you’ll find that are quite like it. My brothers and I explored the trails that looped around the property and got to pet the free-roaming chickens, see a turtle, and interact with other wildlife. Highly recommend!

Sugar Shack Cabin
Perfect couples getaway
Very beautiful cabin! The trail to the cabin was beautiful. It rained one night that we stayed and it sounded gorgeous hitting the roof. We also were able to use the wood stove since it was 50 degrees one night. Learned a little ukulele over the weekend. Want to come back and try the other cabin option! Also caught a glimpse of wild life, a baby deer was up ahead. Loved the trails and the bridges. The Amish deli is a must! They have large sandwiches for $4 made to order and you can slide down the road and get a delicious pretzel or baked good at the bakery! Great way to spend our 6th anniversary ❤️

Camping at Fruitdale Farm was awesome. Great campsite and the firewood was dry and ready to burn. We’ll definitely visit again.

Beautiful spot! Highly recommend!
We had a great time camping at site 2. We had two tents fit comfortably with 3 kids. Perfect spots to hang two hammocks and the kids loved playing in the creek and making gnome homes. There is a steep drop to the creek so probably not suitable for campers with running toddlers but our 4 year old did great. They loved also hanging out on the dock of the pond watching the fish. The place is very well maintained, comfortable and the composting toilet is awesome. I’d highly recommend this place and will hopefully be back. Totally not under their control but make sure to put all food items including rags that maybe at some point smelled like food in your car. We had raccoon visitors all night trying to get into our sealed coolers, tents and tubs. They dragged a sealed bag of unused wash rags into the woods and got a few other items. We were the only campers that night so I think they only had us to scavenge all night long because the second night we didn’t have any coon visitors probably because we also put everything we brought to the site into our car. (Aimee did warn us about raccoons we just didn’t understand the extent of them). So lesson learned for us just make sure to put away your food and food adjacent items and the site is perfection!

Had a lovely two night stay at Fruitdale Farm. The abundance of honeysuckle on the property made for the sweetest aroma the whole time- LOVE! Cooking Aimee’s farm fresh eggs over the fire was wonderful. Our campsite was secluded and when there were other camper’s at other campsites we didn’t hear much of a peep. It was the perfect getaway/ camping experience/ place to disconnect from the busy world. Easy to navigate and the walk from unloading the car wasn’t difficult at all. Except when my partner tipped the wheelbarrow over a log in the dark. Cooler dumped out. Lol. Maybe be careful with that. Otherwise, it was lovely just hanging in the hammock swaying in the breeze. Highly recommend staying here. Hoping I can visit again sometime in the future! Kudos to Aimee for creating such a beautiful property & sharing it with others. Surely that takes a lot of hard work. Excited to see how else she expands life on the property & in the community! <3 ✌🏼
