Come stay at our little sustainable farmstead amid the beautiful rolling hills of southern Ohio! Our peaceful 20 acres has a good mix of woods, wild meadows and maintained cleared areas as well as a small pond, all of which can be explored via our nature trail. Enjoy the sounds of nature and an incredible night sky. Farm fresh eggs and fresh produce are available for purchase during the growing season and firewood is available all year round. There is also a wonderful sauna on the property that can be reserved. Great hiking, kayaking, biking, birding, fishing, swimming, and disc-golfing opportunities just a few miles away at Paint Creek State Park and the Highland Nature Sanctuary. Amish country is also just 15 minutes away with a great bakery, markets and greenhouses. This area is home to an impressive network of ancient earthworks including the world famous Serpent Mound. Our accommodations range from primitive tent-camping to "glamping" in one of our tiny off-grid cabins. The sites are spaced out for privacy and each site offers a private picnic table and fire pit. There are two shared privies/outhouses which have basic composting toilets. A grassy parking area is provided near the road, however, ALL SITES ARE WALK-IN ONLY. Greenfield (5 miles north) is the nearest town and has two grocery stores, restaurants, a bar, hardware, gas, etc. Bainbridge (7 miles south) has gas, hardware, a couple of restaurants, dollar store, amish businesses, etc.

A true Dream
Yet another wonderful visit and time spent at Fruitdale farm - this time for Aimee’s first ever yoga flow and sound bath - ushering in the first day of autumn in the best, most relaxing and healing way. Aimee is always such a phenomenal host and so caring and generous. Her farm is a true dream and always makes for the most perfect getaway, solo or with the family! Farm stand full of awesome goodies for purchase, wonderful trails to explore, details all considered and brought together seamlessly. A close drive to some superb hiking trails as well as the beach and bird-watching. Always recommend this spot to others and we will continue returning time and time again.

Site 3 (woodland gully)
Kitty camping
Aimee’s land is a work of art. I have been a few years in a row and it keeps getting better every time. More amenities, nice trails, cute cabins and a wonderful sauna. This place is a great getaway and a wonderful backdrop to make memories year after year. We were hosted both evenings by a friendly and talkative orange cat with thumbs, so cute.

Great trip with dog and toddler!
We’ve been here multiple times and we love it. The host Aimee is wonderful, and she’s absolutely created a piece of magic land. The sites are pretty private, they fit our giant tent, and we went with our 2 y/o for the first time and it was great. Highly recommend when you’re looking to go offline and back to basics.

Love Fruitdale Farms!
Aimee has a lovely property and everything was maintained very well! We arrived to dry firewood already stacked at our site, so we were able to get a nice fire going right away. The hiking trails are clearly marked and cleared out, so we were able to get a good hike in. She has compost, trash, and recycling bins readily available, definitely a plus. The only downside was the campers at site 3, but that's unavoidable sometimes. Their loud (and often inappropriate, considering other campers had children around) conversations and music late into the night carried over the creek bed easily, but if that site is empty or has considerate campers, it will be super peaceful. Overall, we did have an amazing time and Aimee is a fantastic host!

Little Fern Cabin
Falling in Love the Farm
I loved the Farm! The Fern is tucked away from other campers just enough to where we felt like we were in our own world. This is definitely the best place to stay on the farm for car campers who want a shelter experience that might have a lot to bring with them. The kitchen was outstanding! The chairs on the patio were so comfy! A perfect little private privy was such a nice touch! And the patio/kitchen lights and inside lights with solar were all we needed at night with our headlamps with the provided fire ring. Even had windows and a fan provided for us. I would suggest bringing extra battery ran camp fans during the summer as the Fern can get hot at night with 2 people inside. (My partner runs extra hot) But no need for bedding or pillows here! Aimee provided everything and games too in case we needed them. Cute little desk inside and drawers under the bed for storing our things. Oh! There's a full size refrigerator provided for you too!! This was just such a great value for the price!! Sauna on site to relax and plenty of nature trails to frolic around. Cute little Disc course too!! Pond with amazing Koi you can swim with (suggest waiting for water level to rise, as there has been a drought). I seriously fell in love with the farm and can't wait to go back!!

Cedar Sanctuary A-Frame (site 6)
We loved staying in the cabin over the weekend! Very clean and cozy! Loved feeling secluded in our little corner looking at the stars from the hammock.
