Good Knights Reserve is located in Union County, Ohio just on the outskirts of Marysville. With a total of 60 acres, you'll have nothing but peace and privacy on the back 15 acres of the property. A 1/2 mile drivable path will take you to the one site currently offered. Here you can pitch your tent, build a campfire, catch and release a few fish from the pond, or choose to sit on the floating dock with your feet in the water. A shooting range for target practice is available or take a short walk through the wooded trail. The camp site sits next to a wooded wetland so you'll fall asleep to the sound of croaking frogs and various other creatures communicating back and forth. A clean porta-john is close by and a small charcoal grill and picnic table with seating for 8 is available. The Marysville Upground Reservoir is just 2.4 miles down the road for more outside activities. There's also a dog friendly winery and brewery 2 miles away. Marysville boasts 5 golf courses and has several quaint bakeries and boutiques in the uptown area. Come visit Union County and discover the unique history behind its 7 covered bridges then return to Good Knights Reserve for smores around the campfire and a peaceful night's sleep. Route 33 is easily accessible.Croaky Oak is a flat, grassy area next to an old Oak tree. The site sits between a 7 acre wooded wetland and a 10 acre farmed field on the property. This allows you to have a private, peaceful camping experience without road noise, or city lights and is the perfect place for a larger number of guests to gather. The path leading to Croaky Oak is about 1/2 mile away from the only entrance into Good Knights Reserve and you can drive your vehicle all the way to the tent site. Croaky Oak is suitable for 2 large tents or 4-5 smaller tents and is just a few feet away from the porta-john, and a 3/4 acre established pond. There is a short wooded trail to stroll through and plenty of wildlife to see. I believe most choose camping as a way to escape with close friends or family in a peaceful, private environment, so have chosen to offer only one site to reserve for the entire 15 acres. Please reach out to the host, prior to booking, if you have special accommodations needing to be considered.

Even though we were unable to stay at Creeky Oak due to weather from hurricane Helene, we were impressed with Mary’s thoughtfulness and communication. The sight looked amazing! We will definitely try it out again when the weather is better. It’s a dog’s (and human’s) dream nature escape.

We had a a wonderful experience at croaky oak! The directions to the site were accurate and clear. Mary was kind and helpful at our arrival, welcoming us and directing us to our site. The site is beautiful and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to the frogs by the pond, and our pup enjoyed a nice dip! It was a refreshing and peaceful experience!

Lovely spot for tent camping! We were able to take our dog who can be a bit reactive to other dogs, and he did great. The porta john is a nice touch as well. Lots of room and a gorgeous view. Mary, the host, is a wonderful person too, and we will absolutely be back:)

Absolutely perfect Mary has done a great job, down to the finest detail, and you could not ask for a more gracious or accommodating host. The porta potty is stocked with TP and hand sanitizer and automatically lit both inside and out at night. The campsite has a large picnic table, fire pit with wood supplied, a trash can, and grill. While there is no water hookup, Mary provided a water cube. The land itself is wonderful, with wildflowers, pheasants, wild turkeys, hummingbirds and even a mink! There is a small pond with loads of sunfish and frogs. There is also a short but very pleasant mowed walking path into the woods.
