We have 2 flat gravel campsites available on our property just 2 miles drive to beaver creek state park where you can hike, fish, visit the pioneer village, and sit by the creek. We are 26 miles from the Pittsburgh airport and 1 hour to downtown Pittsburgh. Enjoy being close enough to enjoy the big city offerings without the high cost of accommodations.
There is a maintained hiking trail that starts on the edge of our neighbors property at the end of our road that goes to a state park. There are plenty of downed trees/branches on and near our property that are easy to access if you want to gather wood for a fire.
Or just relax at your campsite. Fire rings are provided upon request. Thank you for considering us for your stay.Site 2 is situated between a wooded hillside and a hollow. It is on a road less traveled but near to coffee shop, gas stations, restaurants, and more. There is ample space for vehicles and outdoor living. We offer monthly rates. Contact me for more information about long term stays. Thank you for choosing us.
Amy's place was fantastic! I love that it was on a more secluded road, with quiet neighbors, which made it feel more private. Close to a state park and not far from local grocery stores and gas stations. Amy was a great host and I would definitely stay here again! 10/10
Great little spot to stop along the way to your destination. It was somewhat difficult to see in the dark, but the host was able to guide us to the site. The only issue we had was with the sewer location - it is located in a kind of awkward place.
Easy to get to and great price for fhu. We chose it for location and fhu but unfortunately the kid got sick so we just relaxed, which was also needed lol. T-Mobile signal was great.
Just beware (as the host says) the neighbor does have a free roaming dog. Barked at hubby but left the kid and I alone. But when walking my dogs (would recommend only walking back towards main road and not by houses) I had to call hubby to shoo him away so I could get back to the camper without confrontation. Not sure it would have done anything, but my dogs have been attacked before so they’re more reactive.
Campsite does not have grass or picnic table, just fyi. Did have to get a 220 adapter as the electric hookup was an odd size. Host answered questions quickly and was helpful. Perfect for an oilfield worker but not family friendly. Semi close to Beaver Creek. 10 minute drive into the park.
