Indulge in a genuine glamping experience at The Bombay Belle, a 256 sq. ft. canvas cottage exuding a vibrant East Indies vibe. This extraordinary off-grid, eco-friendly accommodation is fully furnished in the authentic style of its origin – Old Colonial India. Bid farewell to the sleeping bag in the basement and embrace a restful night on a plush queen-sized bed adorned with fine white linens. The Woods beckon, promising an unforgettable escape. Immerse yourself in the charm of this unique accommodation, where a well-equipped outdoor kitchen and a private bathhouse are just a glimpse of the amenities that await. Experience the allure of The Bombay Belle – your gateway to a truly distinctive and comfortable stay. The entire glampsite sits up on a 24' x 24' deck overlooking acres of old-growth woods. THE OUTDOOR SPACE: Enjoy an intimate meal for two at the dining table, with a dessert of smores cooked over the firepit. The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner stove, a 42 qt. BougeRV fridge, a grill, and all the cooking gear to make outstanding outdoor meals. A retractable awning can open up the sky, or keep inclement weather at bay. THE PRIVATE BATHHOUSE: Next to the big copper sink is the entrance to your private bathhouse. The clear roof makes it feel like you're still outdoors. Rinse off the day's hike in a hot water shower while overlooking the pond. The composting toilet keeps everything eco-friendly too. THE CANVAS COTTAGE: The spacious Bombay Belle cottage has a large entrance and 4 big round windows, all fully screened. The intricately scrolled queen-size bronze bed is the centerpiece of your suite. Sink into the papasan chair with a good book, or use the desk for focus, meditation, and recreation. It's a place to unplug from it all, but you'll still have plenty of USB ports to recharge your devices. And there's also a Jackery 500amh portable generator if you have more demanding power needs. ON PROPERTY ACTIVITIES: Within our 13 acres of woods, you may do some birding, taxonomy, hiking, or mushroom hunting. Look for our secret library to spend a restful moment reclining in a hammock with an interesting book. Follow the path up to the southwestern corner for scenic views of rolling hills and meticulously kept generational farms. It’s a great place to watch the sunset. There's also tomahawk throwing up there, and a zipline to make the hike back down a lot more fun! Maybe you'll want to get some fishing in. Our pond is fully stocked with bluegill, crappie, bass, catfish, and grass carp. Take our rowboat out for a nice lazy float on the water to go where they're biting. Or hang out in one of the hammock chairs on the floating dock. You can spend hours listening to music or listening to the croaks and buzzes of nature. HQ, the canvas cottage by the dock, will take you back to the summer camps of your youth. It's where you can find all sorts of fishing gear, yoga equipment, games, books, and lounge cots. Even if the weather isn't perfect you'll never get bored! Play a few afternoon rounds of cornhole next to the wildflower hill. Or show off your hula hoop skills. Then end the day around a bonfire by the big red windmill. No matter how you pass the time, you will feel relaxed, reconnected, and recharged. LOCATION: The Bombay Belle glampsite is located in the rolling Appalachian Foothills of Coshocton County. You'll be minutes away from Rosco Village, a restored 1830s canal town where you can shop, visit museums, and even take a ride on The Monticello III, a horse-drawn canal boat. We're also right along the path of 'The 3 Rivers Wine Trail’ where you can tour 7 wineries & a brewery all within a day's scenic drive. There are also several adventure trails for motorcycling, bike riding, disk golfing, horseback riding, and geocaching. We are located within Ohio's largest Amish community. You won't hit a single stop light before arriving to New Bedford, Baltic, Charm, Sugarcreek, Berlin, Walnut Creek, or Millersburg - all only minutes away!

Absolutely loved everything about this place. It was quiet and cozy. We had a great time with all the activities on site. The zip line was my favorite and so was the secret library. It was extremely beautiful and can’t wait to come back. Diana and her husband were very welcoming and so was there dog spirit what a sweetheart!

Relax and refresh
We are primitive tent campers and thought we would give ourselves a break and try this. It was a treat! Diana and Don are the nicest people you could meet and we are very happy to call them new friends! This place is beautiful! You can tell there was a lot of thought and love put into this! It is very clean and you literally only need to bring your clothes and food and drink…everything you need is there and well organized….so many thoughtful touches. If you want to truly relax and unwind this is the place to be! You will leave feeling refreshed and renewed it’s like being at a spa! Plus you have many activities…we tried archery, hatchet throwing and did the zip line plus fishing so much fun! I recommend the hammock chairs at the dock. The woods are beautiful plenty of birds and deer to see. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend this to all!

Such an amazing place. Not sure I could think of anything Diana hasn't already thought of. There are some seriously big fish in the pond. The boat is a must whether you fish or not. There is so much here to explore and enjoy. Diana and Don are very friendly and have a lot of stories to tell.
