The Oasis is a 10 acre creek side campground located in Frankfort, Ohio, 15 minutes outside of Chillicothe. Features of the property include: -Tiny cabin, or "cabinette" -6 rustic campsites (with more coming soon) -The property is on the North Fork of Paint Creek with creek access and a large rock beach. -We are at the 12.5 mile marker of the Tri-County Triangle bike trail that runs through the property from Chillicothe to Washington Court House. Bring your fishing poles, bicycles, and kayaks and enjoy everything the property has to offer!

Lovely little campground

We had a great time this weekend. Sites were clean and well spaced. We took site 3, which had plenty of room for our group of 4. These sites are very rustic which is good for the rough it type camping experience. Kids has a blast riding their bikes on the near by bike trail. They played in the river finding little toads, various insects, and neat looking rocks. The stuff kids are supposed to do when they're disconnected from electronics. The owners were very kind and generous making sure we were having a good time. And we did! We had a very good time.

As advertised. Easy access to kayak put in and bike trails. Tidy camp and toilets. Remote feel, but close to in town amenities. Leashed animal friendly. 5/5 stars.

Such an amazing place for a weekend getaway. So peaceful and quiet! Amelia was an amazing host. I would definitely stay again.

Best camping spot in Ohio!

We loved cabin-camping at The Oasis! This campground is nestled in a private, tree-filled plot of acreage with creek view/access. We took advantage of the peace and quiet to explore a little. There is a great public hike/bike path adjacent to the campsites. We set up in the cabin (due to rain) where we found a gorgeous and immaculate abode! A refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, tea kettle, air conditioning AND fireplace are included. There was plenty of stocked firewood and a spacious area to sit near the fire-ring. Be sure to bring extra TP/sanitizer as there is potable water at the cabin site (by the road) but not inside the cabin. There are porta-potties as well. The owners have sprayed for ticks, which was so great! We will be coming back as often as we can!

"My experience at Oasis was excellent. The cabin was amazing , and the owners were incredibly friendly and super nice. The beauty of the river is truly beautiful. It's something you have to see in person. Without a doubt, Oasis is the top campground in Frankfort, Ohio.
