Pleasant Valley Farm was originally a working farm with a two-story farmhouse and traditional bank barn, built in the late 1800s. The massive timbers and joinery are constant reminders of the meticulous craftsmanship of the era. Jim and Kathy Grogg purchased Pleasant Valley Farm in 1994 and not only updated the house and barn, but also expanded the lake to its current 13 acres. The large 144-year-old, 2736-square-foot barn is now available for special occasions such as weddings, receptions, birthdays, and reunions.

#6 Lake side
Our stay at Pleasant Valley Farm was wonderful. Jim and Cathy were so welcoming. We had so much fun on their canoe with our dog and the view from LakeSide #6 was beautiful.

#5 Wood side
Nice place! We'd go back :-)
Jim and his wife are lovely hosts...we had Site #5 and loved it! That said, I had a 7x14 cargo trailer camper and, although it says that the property is RV friendly, there are really only a couple sites that I would feel comfortable taking mine--certainly nothing larger. It is great for tents and vans, perhaps a small Class C. We had perfect weather and a very enjoyable 4 days. Also note, the photos of the sites are not accurate. Jim said he is going to fix that...

Great time away from the city!
Jim and Kathy’s land is beautiful! Our site was by the creek and lake overflow and closest to the road, so it was nice white noise and a little extra privacy from other camper’s conversations. The lake was clean and well maintained - a little hard to get into the water but doable. Our site didn’t have a table, so Jim let us borrow one from his garage and was friendly. The bathrooms were clean and nice to have access to. The first few nights, the sites next to us were vacant, but when full, we couldn’t hear much past 10pm. Less than 10 minutes from a Walmart in case you forget a big blanket…! 20 minutes to the Mohican state park with beautiful trails. Looking forward to making Pleasant Valley a regular camping spot!

#9 Barn Side
I loved camping on James's land! James was very pleasant and the bathroom facilities were large and clean. The site was beautiful and private. Excellent first camping experience for a not so outdoorsy person like me. We'll definitely be back!!
