Family Trip to
Beautiful camp site with amazing host! Highly recommend. Campsite was flat, with a good size fire ring and picnic table. The “outhouse” is actually a clean, flushable toilet (and well ventilated), which was a nice touch for such a primitive site. There is also a kitchen area with a sink for washing dishes, which we also appreciated. And the hosts loaded us up with dry wood for beautiful campfires - really appreciated that! Will definitely be back.

Great place to camp
Tent camping at site 3 on the ridge was awesome! Nobody around, private and primitive, just what we were looking for. The campsite was nice and cozy with enough room to fit a large tent, a couple tables, firepit, and I'd say like one large truck or two smaller jeeps. Pretty much just enough space for everything you need. The hosts are great people and very accommodating. Also the shower down at the base of the campground is fully functional but we didnt check out the kitchen. All in all 10/10

This was a lovely spot. Perfect for access to the majesties of the hocking hills! We opted to camp here instead of paying for a pricey room at the lodge for a wedding. Worked out wonderfully! Check out the john glen Observatory on a clear night!

Site 4 - Yourway Camp
Margie and her husband were so helpful and lovely to talk to! We stayed at camp site 4, which was nestled up a hill which my SUV had no problem making it up! There was a picnic table and grate over the fire and they provided us with firewood that lasted our entire weekend! It was a beautiful spot to relax after hiking at all the local spots. Margie was a fantastic host and such a genuine person, I am happy we were able to spend the weekend here!

Connecting with nature
We loved camping on Margies’s land. If you hate the state park crowds, then look no further. This is a welcoming family, a quiet and serene place. We will make this one of our favorite places to camp from now on. Thanks for the hospitality!
