Serenity Lane is a 93 acre animal sanctuary in peaceful farm country with fields, forest, trails, and lanes to explore. There are wetlands and a river running through the property. There are several hiking trails and small towns to explore in the area, and Hastings and Rice Lake are 15 minutes away by car.Our cabin is in 30 acres of forest and wetlands at the back of the farm. It has a large deck with a table and chairs and a bbq. The river is just beyond the cabin. Explore the trails, creek, and fields and at night, sit by the fire and look at the stars. The cabin has a queen bed, table and chairs a couch and tv, and a kitchenette with a fridge and freezer, induction hot plate, and all of the pots, dishes and utensils. There is an outhouse with a composting toilet close by.

The cabin is located in a forest in a farmland. The landway passes through farms so you see animals, nature, etc. On the way out, I saw an owl. Inside the cabin is everything you'd expect from a home from TV, board games, a kitchen. a fridge, a microwave, a heater, a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, furniture, etc. And electricity. A patio outside and a enclosed sun room. Outhose close by. Parking by the cabin. I would recommend 4WD or at least a SUV. Peterborough is a 30 minute drive so you can see everything a city has.

The cabin gives incredible privacy in a beautiful forested glade. The inside is all warm wood that surrounds you in an aura of relaxation. My partner and I will 110% be back, it was wonderful.
