Attention... Skiers/Snowboarders, MTB'ers, Hikers, Skaters, Adventurers, all outdoor enthusiast. Our outdoor sauna is open and ready for you to heal all your mountain soreness. The year 1989 birthed the renowned Windells Camp and High Cascade Snowboard Camps at Mt. Hood, Oregon. What resulted today is a 28-acre action sports mecca that serves as the pathway for nearly every action sports professional and these special Roamer Sites give you a sampling of that experience. Nestled at the foot of Mt. Hood and its year round lift-accessible snow, these adventure rigs sites for #vanlife, roamer trucks, and nimble RVs place you on the campus of one of the world's premiere destinations for actions sports. We also offer glamping tents. With Sandy Ridge mountain bike trails within a mile, and over 40,000 sf of skateboard park, there is something for everyone. Your Roamer Site one of 18 featuring a communal campfire and picnic tables. From 5-7pm M-F and 7-10AM Sat/Sun you'll have access to our private indoor and outdoor skateboard parks, mountain bike trails, and fitness center. Want coaching and more? We have that! (additional fee and reservation apply). Guests love it here "Great camp setup with RV sites and tent Glamping site in nice big canvas tents. I had a quick in and out one night stay and enjoy the big trees and peace and quiet. Located next to an actions sports camp, and the hills which allow for lots of hiking and relaxing"

It's a different experience. The grounds are on a private school site for younger, gifted athletes. Entrance is through a locked gate. Camp host met me in the dark at gate and led me to the next gate on an electric skate board to the second gate and campground. Depends on what the traveler is looking for. This camp is in close proximity to Mt. Hood National Forest trails which is what I wanted. The actual tent sites are narrow slots and have not much space for a tent. Fortunately I have small backpacking tent and can go anywhere. The water spigot is shared and that's fine. Campfire barrel is every other site. Luckily nobody next to me on one side. Two restooms and are occupancy one each, so hopefully empty. They were for me. BTW, those are through a gate. Host is friendly and helpful. You won't have a solitary experience here if that's what one is looking for. But, if you just need a campground, this fits the bill. Nearly all National Forest camps are closed for the season in this general area and this worked for me for one night. I would plan my next hiking trip to the Forest /Wilderness differently, however.

We loved everything about it!
We loved everything about this experience! The wall tent was cozy, warm and quiet. There was a sauna and cold plunge in the woods behind us and it was a magical little escape. My son is a skater and he loved all the skating options available. The staff were really helpful. Overall, we were more than happy with everything. We’ll definitely be back!
