Our 27' 1973 Airstream Overlander has been completely refurbished with lots of love and attention to detail. The outdoor space is a chill zone full of native plants, trees, flowers and an 8 ft. barrel sauna! This space is ideal for anyone looking for a quiet place to land while they explore the city and/or endless nature in the surrounding areas - Forest Park, Mt Hood, The Columbia Rive Gorge, and the coast! We are biking distance to several fabulous neighborhoods and restaurants along with tons of hiking opportunities in Forest Park, Columbia Slough trail, Mt Tabor and more. We have 2 bikes available for you to use during your stay!ART CAN* is an artfully remodeled 27ft. 1973 Airstream Overlander located in the heart of NE Portland Oregon. Nestled in a lovely private yard with lots of plants, giant trees and a 8' barrel sauna with adjacent shower and composting toilet. Walking distance to a diverse selection of food and shops in the Alberta Arts district, Vancouver/Williams Corridor and Mississippi Ave. Tons of biking/walking/hiking/nature opportunities nearby - Forest Park, Columbia Slough Trail, Mt Tabor, Mt Hood, and the Columbia River Gorge to name a few! Bonus: are 2 blocks from the King Farmers Market which happens 10-2 every Sunday. Walking distance to the Co-op and Natural Grocers! We also have 2 bikes for you to use free of charge! The private space is an open yet cozy space. Comfy couch, desk area, kitchen table, blue flame heater, and 1 extra long queen bed (7.5' for all you tall folx!) Kitchenette includes 2 burner propane Wolf stove, eco-sink (drains to raised bio-swale garden in front), fridge, freezer, cook/dish ware, coffee maker, water filter. The sauna, shower and composting toilet are just steps away from the trailer. Towels are provided! The outside area is a secluded, minimally shared space. The ART CAN has it's own deck with couch, table and chairs and grill. 2 bikes are available for use! Lots of plants, trees and bird watching. You are welcome to use the solo stove fire pit if a burn ban isn't in effect. House residents use the upper porch/deck attached to the house. DIVERSITY IS OUR PRIORITY! *NOTE: This space is not suitable for young children, therefore we require that all guests on a booking be aged 7 years or older. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

We have a STRICT no pets policy. We LOVE animals but due to the nature of the space and neighbors we are not able to accommodate them. Thank you for understanding :)

This fun and funky place is perfect! It’s roomy and comfortable and the host really pays attention to the details. The facilities are great and the outdoor space is a perfect little private place to relax. We have definitely found our place to stay when we come to Portland. Thank you Gino!

Awesome Portland oasis

Just Beautiful!!! So Cozy 🥰🌲

The Art Can was the cutest Airstream. Every detail is well thought out and gives you the vibes of what Air BnB is supposed to be like and what it was like when it first started. The Art Can has so many adorable details and you can feel all the love that was put into the Airstream, the sauna, the shower and the restroom facility. The Sauna worked flawlessly, its get hot! It’s under a beautiful tree and a water bucket to pour over the coals is provided as are a few other cute things to pass your time comfortably like Turkish towels. The outdoor shower is very large and beautiful with stained glass and its own mirror and sink. The outdoor toilet is a compost toilet and very clean. You’ll get the hang of it! The seating are and garden is just lovely. My wife took two naps out the outdoor couch, it was amazing. Location is great, you can see the art can from the road. Parking was easy on street. Gino is soooooo sweet! Could not have a better host or place to stay in Portland ❤️

We loved staying at Gino's place. She was an extremely accommodating host and we felt more than welcome at the Art Can. Everything was amazing, super clean and the Sauna was the perfect way to wind down at night. The location is perfect for exploring and walking around Portland without feeling like staying in a busy city. Would highly recommend!

We loved staying in Gino's Airstream! The attention to detail and vibe perfect. The sauna and ceder enclosed shower made this space even more special. Also, Alberta Street is just a short walk away and has so many great restaurants and local shops.
