Learn more about our land:
In the heart of Willamette Valley AVA and on a breezy 20-acre lot of land we provide a space for you to set yourself up and enjoy life's natural bounty. We offer a small shared space with a wood fire stove and some essential items, many games (such as horseshoes), and lots of picnic areas and tables sprinkled throughout the property. The location is central and half an hour to just minutes away from water bodies Hagg Lake, Nestucca River, Yamhill River, little Niagara Falls, Mill Creek, Baker Creek, Rainbow Lake and more… Such as the Carlton public pool. If your looking to jaunt from camp a little further, we are located a little over an hour and a beautiful drive to the Pacific Coast and about an hour from Portland.
Although in the middle of the country woods, we are surprisingly only two and a half miles from the adorable and quaint town of Carlton. So beside the views, you’ll be alongside some fantastic eateries and outstanding winemakers.
Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty.

The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. There are two family homes on the property with people who truly admire this land we have been given so we do ask you to respect our process in this adjustment, as we miss our grandparents and parents who have worked their entire lives for us to be here.
With the work of these past couple seasons, and thanks to our fellow campers, we have been able to lay more gravel, get a more fluid bathroom situation established, and have purchased a 20ft stargazing tent that is in the works of being listed this season!
So thank you for your support in this venture and in any form, I’m excited to be apart of your adventure and hope to see you in our neck of the woods soon!

Discover our inviting common space featuring a cozy wood fire stove and essential amenities, and many games (such as horseshoes). Scattered picnic areas and tables dot the property, perfect for leisurely gatherings. The location is half an hour to just minutes away from water bodies Hagg Lake, Nestucca River, Yamhill River, little Niagara Falls, Mill Creek, Baker Creek, Rainbow Lake and more. If your looking to jaunt toward a larger body of water, we are a little over an hour and a beautiful scenic drive along Nestucca river to the Pacific Coast as well as an hour from Portland.
— We do suggest, to best prepare yourself, please read the entire listing before your stay! We want to ensure every aspect meets your expectations. —
We have 9 RV/tent sites to choose from & can accommodate vehicles under 40ft in length. The sites are flat, though there are no hookups or electricity available at this time. A generator must be used to power the glasshouse, though there are tea lights stocked.
Campfires are permitted (barring any fire bans), allowing for memorable evenings under the stars—safety always a priority. We have sadly had the field catch flame a time or two, so be very careful with open flame and keep a hearty distance from any combustible materials, including grass, vegetation, or structures.
Pets are more than welcome! Please keep them close and be mindful of others. If your dog doesn’t do well with other animals, please be sure to warn me in your request to best prepare.
Potable water and cooking equipment are available in the glasshouse.
And a portable-lou is available for campers to use tucked next to the dark grey shed (it's cleaned every Wednesday)!

There are a couple options depending on the size of your get up, but the majority of our sites are pull in/back out situations— our most favored is a back-in though. Smaller rigs have the option to pull through in some cases.

Generators allowed
* Please respect the quite hours and be mindful of your neighbors. *
At this time we do not provide a generator for the common space, though your stay with us will likely go toward the purchase! In any case, we have extension cords on hand and you can feel free to hook yours up to the lights around the property. I will let you know where the lights plug in given the desire! (hint: It’s to the right of the table in the glass house)

What to expect
RV/tent site
Camping area selected or assigned upon arrival.
6 guests max per site
Campfires allowed
Firepit, communal, wood burning fireplace. There is a large communal fire pit, a smaller communal fire pit on the dancefloor/basketball court, and a wood burning stove in The Glasshouse.
Toilet available
Portable toilet. It’s still a little rough around the edges, as it is from the 90’s and is still being restored, but it is fully functional and clean!
Pets allowed
Off leash, on leash. If you have space and your pup is safe, have at off leash time (our doggo loves running in the field!) I feel silly even saying this, but of course be mindful of other guests. If you want a doggy playdate, Cosmo (our dog) would be thrilled! He’s a year old husky border collie mix with a lot of energy and love to give and has always played well with others. Also, I have put some extra doodoo bags in with the essentials (in the communal space), and some treats!
Potable water available
Hose, bottled water or jugs. There are jugs of filtered water in The Glasshouse, along with a hose hook-up per request.
The water barrel next to the recycling outside is hose water, so good for hands and dishes, but not the best for drinking!
Bins available
Compost bin, recycling bin. Our trash service is already occupied by two households **thanks ahead of time**
We do however offer and encourage recycling where the different bins are labeled and situated on the north side of the glass house — glass has it’s own, cans, and then one for plastic and paper/cardboard. The compost bin is inside under the water table for coffee grounds, and other easily compostable (non-meat, or eggs (except for the shell)) food scraps.
Thanks ahead of time for being mindful when sorting recycling, it can get to be a pretty big job otherwise.
Also, again— Thank you for packing out all of your non recyclables.
Cooking equipment present
Communal, stovetop or hot plate, cookware, cooking utensils, dishware, cutlery, basic seasoning and oils, sink or other dishwashing station. All located in the glasshouse with the exemption of the hand and sink washing station next to the recycling!
Picnic table present
Laundry present
Upon request. 7$ a load wash and dry!
Playground available
There is a small play house for children though it was built when I was a child and I recommend precaution if going *upstairs*!
No showers
There is a small public pool just a few miles away in Carlton with shower facilities!
No wifi
Although not the strongest most providers have cell coverage though, otherwise downtown Carlton is only a few minutes away.

4WD recommended
7 inch clearance required unless packing out! 4WD/AWD is highly recommended as much of camp is situated along a dirt road (as pictured). I have no problem getting around with my rear wheel truck, as long as it hasn’t rained. In the case that there are any doubts or troubles, there is some space to park next to the old barn where camp would be about a five minute walk away depending on where you choose and I have a wheel barrow if need be!

Really nice place to relax. Right in the middle of wine tasting country and the Whiskey trail, if you love distillerys. Couple secluded campsites. Beautiful views from little cabin, which was perfect for rainy days. Provided small amenities like stove with propane, silverware, etc. Whitney was very helpful, gave some great ideas for restaurants in the area. Definitely a 4wheel drive area in the winter. Would definitely go back.

Celestine fields was a great get away for my partner and I even on a cold rainy weekend. We were able to relax while still staying connected. This really gave us novice campers the ability to camp in the elements without have to worry. I'm sure this property is even more incredible in the Summer! I could definitely see myself coming back!
