Beautiful River and great Hosts.
This campsite was a great find on the Umpqua River. The site was quiet, flat and had electric and water. Suzanne and Mike, the hosts, were a pleasure. Mike has lived in that area for a very long time so knows alot about the history. Suzanne runs the food cart just a short walk from the site. We walked everyday and met many of the neighbors. Loon Lake was a short drive and beautiful as well. Thanks Suzanne and Mike for a nice stay. Highly reccomend your place.

Scenic Simplicity with a View
I had a pleasant stay at this campsite in Scottsburg, Oregon. The location is ideal—just a short drive to Loon Lake, with easy access to the Umpqua River for activities like kayaking and fishing. While the setup is straightforward, the views of the Umpqua River are truly magnificent, offering a peaceful and scenic backdrop. The site also provides convenient access to both electrical hookups and water, making the stay even more comfortable. The hosts are local and very accommodating, ensuring everything was in order for a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a simple, convenient spot with beautiful surroundings and friendly hosts, this is a great option.
