It all started in the 70s when the Peek family would come to camp and play on this river. Then after some geographical changes to the family, they came back up the river starting in the mid-’90s, and this was a great family vacation destination. Even after we moved away after graduating from NBHS, every year, on the beautiful drive to and from the property, my wife and I would marvel at the perfection of the river scene and the many ferns and mosses growing everywhere. So much nicer than the coast most days. No cell service or wifi became a luxury as we worked hard building our dream life. This property is a part of what used to be just a dream for us; we hope you enjoy it as much as we have!Space for the whole tribe! Pitch your tents or park your RV in a gorgeous meadow right in the middle of the forest. In the summer, the family can go for a brisk swim in the amazing Smith River and dry out on the hot rock bed after. There is plenty to do exploring the beautiful private 14-acre property. Hiking trails on the property feature many species of trees, huge rocks, and a peaceful clearing to watch the stars. Your site is just 4 miles from the famous Smith River Falls. Bring your family and friends. You will be comfortable in warm clothes in the winter, and be sure to bring your swimming gear through the summer.

The directions were easy to follow. The site was private, had a great spot by the river, but took us a minute to find it. There was a little more traffic than we expected on the road, but it was still a very relaxing and enjoyable place.

Fantastic!
Tent · Group trip
Fantastic site. Beautiful surroundings with plenty of privacy. Tree ringed clearing with good tent sited and a great fire pit. Just far enough to be off the "grid" without being to far to drive out if needed.
