Enjoy a quarter mile of Kilchis River access in the Tillamook Forest! If you prefer a private setting you can put up a tent on the west end of the property, or chose the comfort of staying in our rustic cabin. A portable toilet is available on-site, though there are no hookups. If needed, a generator and potable water are also available. Take advantage of the opportunity to go fishing, swimming, or launch your boat/kayak/tube. Alternatively, simply relax and enjoy the picturesque views of the river and the wildlife in the coastal rainforest. Watch the salmon jump during spawning season. We are also a birdwatcher's paradise! Just a few minutes away from town amenities, this location allows you to immerse yourself in the tranquility of the forested river canyon, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.This rustic cabin is nestled under the tree canopy with a beautiful river view. There is a queen bed in the cabin and room for an air mattress or cot. If electricity is desired, there is a generator available for rent. A portable toilet is on site. There is an outdoor kitchen area with a small sink and a gas grill, or cook inside with an electric skillet or crock pot. An electric cooler/fridge is also available inside the cabin. An indoor propane heater is provided at no extra cost. For those rainy days, a TV and DVD player are available, or set up a card table and play some board games. Outside, enjoy a quarter mile of riverbank access to a prime fishing hole for Chinook, Chum, Steelhead, and Trout in Fall, Winter, and Spring. In Summer head down to the rocky beach to soak up some sunshine, or to cool off in the water. Light a campfire in one of two designated fire pits on the beach or near the cabin and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the Kilchis river and coastal rainforest.
