Welcome to Molalla Ripple!
Enjoy the sound of the Molalla River rolling over the rocks.
Wake up to birds chirping and tall trees swaying in the breeze.
The campsites are sixty feet apart for privacy and one path leads to the river with two private beach areas to relax.
NOTE, Please use the clean bathrooms provided. DO NOT USE THE WOODS or camp site as your bathroom room. Thank you, let's keep things clean and safe for others to enjoy!
Jsm Ranch started in 2004 when we moved from Oregon City.
This once was a working farm with two chicken barns and a meat locker barn. All had been fallen into disrepair before taking owner ship.
In 2007 we planted 200 trees and 100 shrubs to build a new fish and wildlife habitat along Woodcock Creek. We then focused on building fence along the Molalla River to protect water quality.
From there, we started raising Black Angus in 2008 after spending four years cleaning up the fields to make it safe for animals. We strive to be good stewards with our land as we continue to work with Clackamas Soil and Water to make better working lands.
You're only minutes away from the town of Molalla to grab a bite, groceries or other camp items. Also have Molalla Rodeo just 3 minutes away on
July 1-4th.
You won't be disappointed for a great breakfast at Tammy D's (Mulino, OR), sandwiches at Humble Pig or pizza at Bear Creek Pizza & Pub.
Camping at Molalla Ripple offers a consistently positive experience with peaceful riverfront sites, clean facilities, and responsive hosts. Many visitors appreciate the serene setting, the well-maintained amenities, and the chance to enjoy nearby farm animals. The campground is particularly praised for its privacy, scenic views, and ease of accessibility, making it a popular choice for both short getaways and special occasions. A few reviews mention minor inconveniences like slick ground conditions after rain, but these do not overshadow the overall enjoyment of the stay.
Overall, everything was great! I loved being right by the river, and slept great. I also added a pound of ground beef, which I didn’t cook there but cooked when I got home and it was excellent! If I would’ve stayed longer, I definitely would have taken them up on the hot tub. The shower was a little different than I expected, but worked great and the hot water was wonderful.
Me and my partner had an amazing time camping at James campsite! It was well kept, he came around often picking up any trash to keep the place clean. There was also restrooms they were well cleaned and had a hand washing station right outside of them. He also sells firewood, fire starter, etc. just in case you run out while you’re there. Whenever anything was needed we would send over a text and receive a response in minutes. The view was amazing and the sound of the river at night was plus. I would recommend this place to everyone and be back myself.
The campsite was very nice, we were right by the river and it was very beautiful, our campsite even had lights strung up in the trees that really made it a pleasant place to stay:)
Great spot especially for families. Beautiful property and well maintained. Very friendly host. Host goes above and beyond offering a great site and anything else you might want to add on.
I went solo tent camping for the first time here and it did not disappoint at all. I had the perfect site, perfect views all around, very clean campground. The host is awesome, he also took time to greet me after I got settled in. Will be back with my family.
