This campsite is a pull thru road that has a sun and wind block overlooking local farm fields. Camp is two miles from freeway exit yet miles from any home other than the working homestead that was started in 1890 with huge barn built in 1906 next door. This is a great place to rest for the night or a week. - simple, safe, and private out of the way. Use the west entrance so you can easily enter, then leave on gravel drive. This is a dry camp with no water access or restrooms. This site is 12 miles west from the world-famous Pendleton Round-Up. 8 miles east of Echo Ridge Winery, Sno Road Winery, Echo historical museum, and Echo Golf Course. Simple dining can be found in Echo at H and P cafe and in nearby Stanfield at Broken Barrel Restaurant/Bar with great burgers. This camp is a work-in-progress pull thru that has a sun and wind block overlooking local farm fields. Great stop for a nights rest !
17 ft campervan · With pets
Great spot to park at after a long day of driving. The sunset was beautiful and it was a quiet night. I would definitely stop here again on my way home from my road trip.

This place is perfect. Previous reviews said there were metal fragments on the ground from old farm fencing but we found none! Our dogs ran around after a long day drive in the car and loved it!! It was windy when we got there but the view was gorgeous and we didn’t mind a bit.

Sunset in Echo

A great spot with beautiful views of the Sunset. Private, quiet, yet right off Highway 84. We even had a small campfire. Perfect spot for a small price!

Great economical spot, great people
16 ft car
What a great stop over! The spot is just as described, and I slept very soundly. They also happened to be having a community bonfire, which I was invited to. Really kind and generous people. Thanks so much Russ!

A peaceful space in the middle of a farmer’s field, a bit of a rough road getting there. The shelter is helpful, particularly with strong wind gusts on the open prairie. Would be great if there was as a fire pit. Was nice for our dogs to be off leash but contained
