Amazing Campground!
It’s the most beautiful campground we’ve ever been to! The creek was right alongside our campsite, there were lots of deer everywhere and the fishing was great off the bridge. Also, the owner and host were so sweet and helpful. We’ll definitely be going back!

It's always a lovely time at Powder Creek. Between the river, the farmlands and the care of our hosts there is always a reason to come back.

Beautiful— but cold and wet
The campsites at Powder Creek and spaced out nicely on the beautiful property complete with a beaver pond and large family of Canadian geese. There are port a potties for every 3-4 sites, I believe. Our main issue was that even in mid-June, it was too cold and wet to enjoy tent- camping. There was so much moisture in the air that I couldn’t even burn paper or the matches that I lit to try to start a fire. Even though the forecast had looked pretty clear, it rained both nights we were there and dropped into the 40s.

Absolutely stunning park like setting. Deer all over. Beautiful creek running through.

Fantastic location for a one or two night stay. Friendly camp host. No cellphone reception (which can be good or bad depending on your preferences), but there is wifi you can use by the main building. Lots of space between camp sites. Quite a few sites are right by the river. Probably the best sleep I've had in ages.

Beaver Pond
Happy camp spot
Tent camping at Powder Creek campground was so fun. Lots of space for each campsite, a mix of sun & shade. My kids played at the Beaver Pond, saw deer, geese, & ducks. we walked in the dark and saw a herd of elk. The picnic tables are in excellent shape. Porto potties are clean. Well cared for property. Check in with host who drives you out to your campsite.
