We are located on 32 forested acres, 10 miles north of Prineville and 1 mile from the Ochoco National Forest entrance. We are a south facing hillside lot that looks south down a farmland valley towards Prineville. The Ochocos encompasses 850,000 acres (3,440 km2) of rimrock, canyons, geologic oddities, dense pine forests, and high desert terrain, as well as the headwaters of the North Fork Crooked River. Our property has a 14 foot tall RV cover with picnic table and fire pit (when fires are allowed). The RV area has water and electrical hook up. An overlook area with amazing sunrise and sunset views is adjacent. We cater to outdoor enthusiasts that are visiting for hiking, fishing, hunting, and other outdoor activities. We have pet dogs, donkeys, goats and kitties so we ask that guests are pet free when they visit.Whether RV, Van or Tent vacationers - get away from the hum of everyday life and remind yourself what silence and nature sound like. Wake up to birds, possibly elk bugling, coyotes or turkeys chatting, or nothing at all! Our donkeys and goats will often say hello (as well as the dogs in the morning). Campers are encouraged to explore the surrounding area or just visit and bask in the views from our hillside property!

Hillside forest/valley view lot.
One of our favorite hip camps EVER!
Pictures do not do this place justice! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, the views are amazing, and the property itself is a DREAM! The animals are so sweet and an added bonus. We sat out on the overlook for dinner and stayed until it got pitch black enjoying all the views of the valley and then the stars! 10/10 would recommend to anyone traveling in this area, we did not want to leave!

Absolutely wonderful time that this campsite. It was secluded and private but not too far from town. Clean, the animals were great and super friendly. The hosts were amazing and very accommodating to us. Plenty od space, water, and electric hookups. The view of the overlook into the valley was breathtaking. We will definitely be getting this spot again.

My 19 year old daughter and her friend stayed the weekend for the Fairwell Festival. They reported having a fabulous time. They loved the animals and especially the cats! They enjoyed and appreciated the tent that was available for them to camp in. The hosts were super great and sweet!

It was a very beautiful peaceful spot! We loved sitting out overlooking the valley listening to nature’s sounds. Karen & Jon we’re very helpful & came to greet us on our arrival. Our kids loved the donkeys, goats, dogs & kittens. It was conveniently equipped with a clean porta potty, water spiggot, electricity, a covered area for car, RV, or tents, a firepit with wood, an outdoor table & chairs, and a covered area with counter space for cooking & chairs to enjoy the view. Would definitely go again!
