Icosa Dome
Cozy and peaceful
We loved the cozy, peaceful Icosa Dome! The directions and check- in instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The hosts maintain the property well. The dome had plenty of room for 2 people and water, tea, and hot water pot were all available for us. The composting toilet is very close and odor-free. Hand sanitizer was provided. FYI, there is no running water. We kept a jug of water close by in case we needed it. Plenty of shade. The dogs love to visit and are very well behaved. Kept us company during mealtime but never begged for food. The step up/down from the dome platform and outhouse are very big, so make that will work for you. We never made use of fire ring or wood-burning stove inside the dome, but nice that they were available. Overall I recommend and I would easily stay here again!

Icosa Dome
Quiet relief from the busy activities in Eugene. Very nice setting on large farm. Cool little shelter aka Icosa Dome to sleep in. You have to duck your head & be careful with your footing and limited lighting if those limitations concern you. No running water to wash your hands. But Wifi and electricity is availableat the dome. Good driving directions.

Icosa Dome
Absolutely delightful!
I stayed at the Icosa dome 2, and it was a wonderful experience! I would highly recommend! The bed was so comfortable, the owners were welcoming, and the property was stunning! The cleanest and most creative compost toilet setup I’ve seen to date. It was so cozy and the perfect getaway I was looking for! 5/5!

Peaceful Escape
We loved our quick but relaxing stay at the Icosa Hut. It’s such a peaceful escape from the bustle of Eugene. We were graced with views of a tiny doe and its mom as well as a flock of baby wild turkeys outside the hut. We slept well in the cozy dome. The grounds are beautiful despite being quite close to Eugene. Be advised it’s a composting toilet and no running water (a jug of water is available) which was great for us but may be too rustic for others. We look forward to returning here whenever we need to come to Eugene.
