Reconnect with nature and escape the heat on our 28 acre filbert orchard, better known as hazelnuts. On hot summer days you’ll find the temperature under the orchard canopy almost 10 degrees cooler at the heat of the day. Feel free to roam the orchard, play a little hide and seek, hang up a hammock, or bring a blanket and picnic. Within walking or bicycle distance are fantastic amenities including Aurora Colony Vineyards, Pheasant Run Tasting room (Friday summer concerts), Aurora Colony Pub (acoustic Thursday), Filbert Farmhouse Restaurant, White Rabbit Bakery, Aurora Healing Gardens-psilocybin experience (advanced reservation required), a local park and lots of antique stores. Within driving distance are tons of wineries, breweries, distilleries and the Woodburn Outlet Mall.

I have stayed at this place twice and had an amazing experience both times! It is only a 20 minute drive from wooden shoe tulip fields too if that’s of interest!
What an adorable camping spot! This was the last night of our mini road trip down and back up the OR coast and it was the perfect end to the trip.
It’s still pretty early into the season so we had a lot of privacy between the rows of trees and it was wonderful falling asleep to birds chirping and the sun peeking behind the leaves, especially after a week of storms on the coast.
Since it was our last night, the wonderful HOT shower and flushing toilets was a God send and such a luxurious addition to car camping! This amenity alone makes this camp site top tier in my book! Shane also responds quickly to messages, questions, etc. and was very accommodating.
We will definitely be back in the summer with wine loving family and friends!
Unfortunately, it rained and the place is slightly muddy. Overall, the campsite is beautiful and private. Their bathroom is not ready yet. It’s in the construction mode. Fear not, once they’re ready, it’s going to be hard to get a spot. Hosts are super pleasant & helpful.
Shane was very kind and quick to respond to my questions. The orchard is beautiful!
