Small hobby farm outside of Bend with a little group of alpacas and sheep. Small wading pond, sandbox and pleasant sitting area. Five minutes from Tumalo town, which is home to The Bite food carts, Bend Cider, Pisano's Pizza, other food establishments, summer farm stand, a gas station and a convenience store. Short, scenic, back road drive to Bend downtown, 45 minutes to Mt. Bachelor. Just minutes to Tumalo State Park and Tumalo Reservoir. BLM is across the street for hiking, dog-walking and mountain biking. Excellent road biking right out the door on a scenic biking route. View of mountains in the distance on clear days. OK for well-behaved dogs, though note that the driveway is not gated and the property is not entirely fenced. Dogs must be under voice control as we have pets and small kids.[Please note that we only accept RVs/campers/trailers - no tent camping, please. The limit is one vehicle. The spot can accommodate up to 40 ft - this includes the length of your vehicle. Note that the electrical outlet is a 50amp plug. If you need to borrow a 30amp adapter, please let us know.] Enjoy a farmside setting alongside a large lawn. Once you back your rig onto the site, a large ponderosa provides ample shade. This camper/RV spot sits next to a small wading pond, long lawn, small beach sand play area, and picnic table. Kiddos will enjoy playing and climbing along the rocks. A 50 amp service, well water hookup, 110v outlet and usb charger station are available for your use. Please note that during cold-weather months or in below-freezing weather, the well water hookup is accessible upon request only - we can gladly open the line as needed. Please note: The wading pool, lawn and sand play spots are shared areas, sometimes used by us and our children. Well-behaved dogs under voice control are welcome. It is essential that any dogs would not chase cats, kids, free-range chickens or wildlife. We have three friendly cats and a dog that roam freely. Also, note that the property is not completely fenced. Smoking, recreational drug use of any kind, fireworks, campfires and parties are NOT permitted. This site is intended to be a comfortable, pleasant, low-key home base for your Bend area adventures - 20 minutes from downtown Bend, 45 minutes from Bachelor, and 5 minutes from a fun food cart pod (The Bite) and other convenient sundries in "downtown" Tumalo down the road.

Peace and quiet 😊

Lisa, Brian and their kids are extremely welcoming. It’s a fun little family farm with a cool little spot and a great sunset. I would recommend these host and this spot for anyone that doesn’t want to be in the mix with a lot of other campers.

Wonderful setting!

Beautiful setting, felt like I had the place to myself. There was an enormous Ponderosa right next to my tiny Airstream, it could’ve made an excellent postcard. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you have kids, lots to do.

Happy Campers

We loved it at “Pond Play!” Lisa and her whole family (including the littles) were so friendly and welcoming! Our dog Stella loved it too! She had never seen alpacas or goats so up close and she was very excited to visit them! We will definitely be back! The location near Bend (Tumalo) was just far enough out in the country to be relaxing but close enough to everything we wanted to do and see! Loved it!!

Peaceful Country Stay

Had a lovely stay at Lisa’s place! Such a quaint little spot out in the country, yet still close enough to everything in town. The electric and water hook ups were and added bonus. Loved all the farm critters and the bright stars at night!
