Your Farm in the City
Good location, a little overpriced
Overall we had a good experience, the location was great and the farm itself was beautiful, but we didn't feel it was worth the price. The camping area is right up against a set of units which gives little privacy. Also be aware you are not allowed to pitch tents - this wasn't a problem for us but isn't clear in the ad, that information comes after you confirm the booking. The place is advertised as having Wifi available but you have to be right down in the lower carpark to connect, and even then it's not a very strong connection. There's also someone who is permanently living in the basement where the shared laundry, bathroom and shower are - not "occasionally living" as was advertised at the time of our booking in late May. We chatted to him and he was very kind and friendly but there were dishes present the whole time we were there which made using the kitchen a bit awkward. There was a shower and bathroom upstairs available to use which we opted to use as it felt less intrusive of his space.

Such a wonderful stay!
We had such a great time camping at the farm in the city! The Farm is absolutely adorable and it's incredible how close it is to the city. The neighborhood that's in the immediate area of the farm is also really great for little cafes and some scenery. It's also great that it's on the east side of the city, so easy access to the waterfall district and all the fun to be had out there!
The farm itself was very relaxing, it was so fun to say hello to the goats and turkeys every morning. The house used for the shower and toilets was also really cute, there was no one upstairs so we used that, but the downstairs was also completely fine.
Gabrielle is an absolute first rate host. She was so helpful with recommendations on what to see and do, she even gave us a ride when it was convenient for her into the city! We truly can't wait to have the opportunity to go back!

Privacy Farm in the middle of the
Beautiful grounds! Private lots in the mild od a city, no one there on weekdays. Weekends there are wedding and other events.

Really nice, quiet and clean place to stay. You’re really close to all areas of Portland and you don’t feel like it which is a nice thing. Away from the hustle and bustle but comfortable environment. Very pretty, clean and organized. A nice grassy spot for you to park.

Camping with animals
Experiencing farm life for the first time, we camped out in our Tesla Model Y.
The environment was fantastic, and it was incredibly peaceful at night!
Not only could we see adorable sheep, but we also enjoyed breathtaking mountain views.
Additionally, there were indoor shared kitchen facilities, laundry machines, and bathrooms, which was excellent for camping enthusiasts!
The farm owners were also very responsive. Highly recommended!!

First Hipcamp experience.
Easily accessible, safe and secure. No problems with traffic or train noise. Depending on the wind direction airport proximity might bother some but it didn’t bother us. Fun to see the goats and turkeys out in the morning. If we are in the area again, we would return without hesitation. Easy access to freeways for visiting Portland proper.
