Walking paths leading to the scenic Conowingo Creek make this private setting located in southern Lancaster County a perfect relaxing get away. A short walk will put you on the banks of ideal fishing or a refreshing dip in the beautiful waterway. Some experts claim that plopping a chair in the middle of the creek with a good book is the only way to go! Then, after an evening by the campfire and a cozy night of sleep, a short drive gives you access to the Susquehanna River where hiking and scenic overlooks abound. The area is surrounded by Amish farms and loads of country charm. Got an itch for a historic city experience? Lancaster city is a 30 minute drive north where the historic Lancaster Central Market is open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and surrounded by lots of quaint shopping. Recently added to Camp Conowingo Extras is the "Henry Hilton" which sleeps two and is an add-on for larger groups or anyone who wants to take in the view, sleeping closer to the stars. We look forward to having you visit us.Our aim is to provide all you'll need for a relaxing private getaway, you can just pack your food and clothing. The bed is always clean and prepared for your arrival with linens to suit the season. We also supply you with plenty of dry firewood, because what would camping be without a fire! Parking pad is for vehicle parking, please use the available wagon located there and walk the short path back to your site. No smoking or vaping of any kind inside the tent.

Camping at Conowingo Creek Campsite is always such a joy! Gini and Kelly leave no stone unturned and go out of their way to make every stay as enjoyable as possible. I've been coming here for 3 years and I look forward to more years to come!

Conowingo Creek Campsite

Highly recommend booking your stay at Conowingo Creek! The hosts are incredibly kind and thoughtful. The property has a beautifully kept trail and the camp site was quiet and private. This is a great option for a weekend getaway with everything you need already there, just pack some food and clothes. In the chilly weather the heater in the tent kept us warm all night. We will be back very soon!

Conowingo Creek Campsite

We came here to celebrate my kids’s birthdays. The site was beautiful and peaceful. We were able to bring our dog and have her off leash which she loved. Our kids stayed in the treehouse. It was a really nice time to unplug and spend time together the site itself is perfect. Gini has supplied everything that you could possibly need.

Conowingo Creek Campsite

The campsite was lovely, incredibly well-stocked and well-organized, and had everything we needed for cooking, which made our stay easy and comfortable. Gini was great to communicate with, always responsive and helpful. When we realized we’d forgotten an air mattress for the extra tent we arranged for our son, Gini and Kelly stepped in and helped us out, saving the day. It was a fantastic experience overall, and we’d love to come back!

Superb Getaway

Conowingo Creek Campsite

Overall, great place to stay at. The hosts are amazing and cater to all your needs, hospitality is a definite 11/10. The location itself is beautiful, there's a really cool path you can walk around in that loops and runs by a shallow stream that was exceptionally relaxing. Highly recommend for special weekend getaways where you want to be outdoors with the simplicity of having a ready-made bed waiting for you and all the essentials you could need at your disposal. Exceeded all our expectations and then some, would definitely recommend!

Conowingo Creek Campsite

Nice site. Everything ready for you- clean and well maintained. no electric or wi-fi which we didn’t mind, but you may want to pack a battery pack for your phone. Loved the stream area, tiki torches, and fire pit. Was a bit noisy at night-very near two highways and could hear the trucks and an early morning 4:30am rooster that wanted everyone up.-I would bring earplugs to sleep soundly.
