50-some years ago, the legendary Grampy David made his way to The Red Rock Rabbit Ranch. There he resides: a good-hearted curmudgeon, a handyman, a grumpy, Ywengling-drinking philosopher, the wittiest mason, carpenter, roofer, etc. you'll ever meet. I'm his grandson, a documentary filmmaker helping to make ends meet here by sharing this glorious space with Hip Campers. 50 acres of serene woods, fields, a pond, and Mine Run Creek. This is a place to relax, to get in touch with nature and reconnect with the people you love. Spring Mount Adventures is nearby. The Perkiomen Creek Trail is only a mile away. Crawfish, sycamore trees, foxes, pileated woodpeckers, and more! Caring for the land: please do not collect your own firewood on the land. That wood is decomposing and contributing to the health of the forest, providing numerous habitats for bugs. Note on dogs: we run a dog-sitting business, so there may be a pack (2-5) of dogs that come through the woods with us on walks. All dogs we sit are friendly towards humans. Food recs: Raw Replenish in downtown Schwenksville has healthy smoothies and salads. Thai Spice is ten minutes away. Trouble's End brewing is 15 minutes away in Collegeville, with delicious beer and a Spicy Chicken sandwich.

Car Camping with a 9 Month Old
Sacchara was a great camping spot overall! It was peaceful and quiet and well maintained. We loved the creek by the campsite, and the people who met us at the driveway were very friendly! We pitched our tent at the fire ring and it was a bit of a trek from the parking area, so we had to make a couple of trips. We were expecting this to be a car camping trip so we had quite a bit of stuff. Next time I would pack lighter and carry everything in a wagon or a backpacking pack just to cut down on the number of trips hauling things down the path. My only suggestion for the camp would be to have a map of the site so that campers know where to get water and where the composting toilet is. After we parked we couldn't find the host that we initially spoke to, and we weren't sure where the facilities were. The other campers we saw also didn't know where the water or toilets were. Otherwise it was a great visit! Would definitely recommend this site and would visit again.

Nice quiet camping spot!
Quiet space to enjoy the woods. We loved hearing the birds and walking along the nearby creek. We would absolutely come back! While the fire pit is included, we opted to add firewood to our package (which was very reasonable). There is plenty around to use to kindling as well. Thanks to Martin for this lovely space.

Memorial Day Adventure at Lindera
Beautiful secluded woods with so many new birds to see and hear! Martin was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed for the evening. Definitely recommend taking a dip in the creek in the morning. Fun local restaurants nearby along the Perkiomen River. We hope to come back and stay at the other campsite this summer :)

Great campsite for families!
The creek access was so lovely, especially with small children. The location was easily accessible from Philly, but quiet and perfect for camping with a small group. It was great to be able to go to Collegeville for dinner, drinks, and supplies on night one. The pictures on the website vs. the actual campsite(s) don't totally line up, so just pay close attention to the direction. We would definitely come back!
