Camping along trout stream
Lovely location along beautiful trout river. $30 with shower, laundry, and river? It's just a bargain. This place is hidden gem!

Great experience!
Me and my fiancé had a great time camping at the Creekside Tent Site! The area is very clean and well maintained and being directly next to the water made for a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend outdoors! The general manager Luis is also super friendly and inviting and even drove around the campsite to check on everybody before it got dark outside.

Mountaintop Tent site
Awesome stay on the mountaintop
I stayed on the mountaintop campsite. It was a wonderful stay for the price, but some things stood out that you may want to be fully informed about. They dont reduce the rating because they were not the camp's fault. Good info to know though: 1) If tent camping, bring strong stakes and don't forget a mallet/hammer! The ground is hard and a bit rocky. Cheap stakes bend. 2) when we went, we were the only ones on the mountaintop. It was incredible, but we are both women, so when another vehichle randomly came up overnight to enjoy the sky, it became so obviously how isolated we were. Only one car came up, though. It was lovely. 3) The pavilion was so beautiful!! A great place to enjoy the view, do yoga, etc. No tables or benches though, so bring your own. 4) We both live in high traffic areas, so the sound of the road did not bother us. If you want silence, the mountaintop is probably not for you. 5) Have your receipt. For some reason the Hipcamp payment did not translate immediately to their system, but then owners are now aware. It caused no problems with check in. The owners were so helpful and kind. The land is GORGEOUS! I would 100% recommend. They have decent amenities and are close to a ton of fun stuff.

Not what we expected from Hip Camp
We had hoped it would be more like the other Hip Camp sites we have experienced - small, personal, in support of a "hip" rural landowners. The reason we love Hipcamp is to meet and support the people who are members protecting open spaces who invite a nature experience. The Creekside site was part of an RV park right next to the freeway in a field without shade. Do not recommend as a Hip Camp experience.

10/10 experience!!!!
10/10 recommend! We tent camped down by the creek! Unfortunately we came on a day where it had rained earlier so the ground was a bit wet closer to the creek, but we picked a site that was dry! It was very nice that there were porta potties right by us, so that if we had to get up in like the middle of the night we could just go right over. The showers and real bathrooms were within walking distance too. Our dogs had a great time there, too! There were plenty of sticks to play with. It was nice and close to hiking trails in Lehigh Gorge State Park and within 30 mins of Jim Thorpe, which is an amazing town that we recommend visiting!
